Does anyone know if James Milner is available for Sunday? By my reckoning the card he picked up against Newcastle was his 5th and I think he may have to serve a one match ban.

5 yellow cards in total, yeah but there is a cut off time and it's 31st December when it resets and 10 yellows is the new threshold.
So in short, no he's not suspended.

EXCELLENT

Fingers crossed Robbo, Mo and Bobby all back. Maybe Keita could be ready for the CL final? He looked so happy for team when the final whistle went last night.

City are going to muller Brighton so I wouldn’t take risks with borderline injured players. We’re strong faves to win the CL. The best team and experience of a recent CL final. It’s ours if we can keep the squad fit. Really need bobby and mo back. Hopefully robbo isn’t too bad

The final is on June 1st. Almost three weeks after our last game in the league.

I know he is hard and all, but he looked very emotional and exhausted both physically and mentaly. I mean he played two positions on that game, and at times it felt like Robbo was still on the pitch. Give him 15 minutes max if any.

Was just going to say that. No need to rest anyone. Just give it our all to beat Wolves then a nice week off before a long gentle warm up to the final.

Well shit happens, we can't rest player for 4 weeks. Keita was unlucky.

And you know this how? He could have been pushing an injury a little and got pushed a little too far. That’s my point. If they’re pretty healthy then yeh play em all. But you already know it’s risky to push someone to play, don’t. They could be out longer than three weeks and we miss a great chance to win a huge trophy.

Because he started I guess. Firmino didn't. Of course I don't know for certain

Of course you don’t, nobody does. I doubt at this stage if the season that the whole squad is 100%. Many will be carrying niggling injuries. If all we had was the league to play for then yeh, risk em all. But, I’d rather look at the CL as being our most realistic chance of winning anything and not risk those who could easily exacerbate currently minor injuries into ones that would leave them out for longer than 3 weeks. Easily done at this stage of the season.

And say we rest a few players, & drop points, then somehow citeh fail to beat Brighton? You don't think that would utterly fuck the teams spirit & faith in their manager?

Yes of course that could also happen. It’s all a question of weighing up the odds. I look at city and Brighton and can’t see citeh dropping points at all. I’d rather play safe with a few slightly injured players and have a much better chance of winning something.

Keep Origi in the team. Hendo might need a rest if he played through on pain killers.

————-Alisson———
TAA—Matip—VVD—Robbo

Salah——Origi——-Mane

Not sure on other CM options bar maybe Shaq or Ox? Maybe Millie LB if Robbo out?

Salah, Henderson and Robertson should be fine for Sunday. Firmino still out but could make the final.

Source: Klopp.

Wolves will be tricky. Hopefully they have one eye on their summer holidays and we can smash a few early goals in.
