The young defence is working fine with Skrtel there instead though. I think Rurik is only suggesting Lovren plays there if he sorts himself out and proves he's better than Skrtel, so it should be fine. Further, both Sakho and Lovren/Skrtel are fully fledged internationals, so whilst it's young, it's got plenty of experience.

But it's only now working with our most experienced Senior defensive player sitting right in front of them.

I've always hated playing young defenders together, centre backs especially, a CB rarely comes into his own until he's older.

Having an entire defence made of youngsters is an issue imo.
