LIVERPOOL v Pompey (A)

Lucas is shit. I'm sick of people tossing him a bone in games where he doesn't do anything horrendous and champion it as 'a good performance'.

Rafa's just blamed the loss completely on the red card.

Ive just found myself, for the first time, hating him during that interview.

Not surprised in the slightest.
Typically him.
Hes desperate

That's exactly it. If he isn't spectacularly woeful then he gets the plaudits.

It's something you'd do if you had an amputee in midfield.

From the BBC:
1441: We are getting an astonishing amount of messages from Liverpool fans saying this is the straw that broke the camel's back. Reds supporters seem to have turned on Rafael Benitez.

Maybe, just maybe, this is going to end it?

Anita you're such a potty-mouth.

Rafael has driven me to it.

It is so stupid and naive... If he believes that the loss come from there and not his idiot line up he should be stoned!!!!

As bad as Lucas is there were plenty of others equally shit today. Dossana was cack from the outset, Agger was unsure and wasted a gift in front of goal, Gerrard could barely control the ball, and Kuyt might as well have been a ball boy. As for Mascherano he was simply reckless, the suspension may give him time to reflect he's let himself and the club down.

We were thoroughly useless all game long, from all quarters. That we have even accumulated 27 points is a miracle given that 'display'.

The Turnover.

The man is an idiot and I don't say that lightly. I know we should always back the manager but come on. It makes me wonder is he doing it in spite of the board. Nothing would surprise me anymore.

I hope our new manager buys that Alonso guy at Madrid, like our last new manager did.

*wipes away tear*

I think so.
Particularly as he "guaranteed" a top four finish, this week, which is clearly, under the present regime, is just not going to happen

Doing what exactly? Making the players play shit?

Making everything shit

I am surprise why no one mention the 2nd goal, when Carra stand beside their striker eye watching the ball, no even a body check and allow the striker to calmly slot it home ????

First goal was Johnson's fault again today
[/quote]

2nd was Aggers who was appalling today.

What I'm concerned about is all this talk that rafa has lost "the changing room" if it is true then that is sad,it sounds as if the players could then be compared to the superstars of chavski who had similar issues with scolari, I never thought that this sort of thing could happen to us, but the more I read people saying it, I can accept that it may be true.

True that. To listen to some you'd think he was the second coming of Beckenbauer, which isn't much use if he can't defend.

If a manager is continuously making wrong decisions and is too stubborn to change a broken formation then its common sense to lose you trust not superstar behaviour.
