WIjnaldum scoring when we're 2-0 up at home against a load of shit.

Who could have predicted it?

While he's been shite more often than not you can hardly pick his goals as a negative.

He scored the goal that got us into the CL in a tight game, scored a winner against City and an equalizer against Chelsea.

He can and has scored big goals

I don't know how you can bemoan lack of creativity and then proclaim Benitez as the answer. Perhaps you'd prefer to have 3 defensive midfielders on the pitch and then despite have something like this to look forward to
We won didn't we. Listen if you'd rather see us running around alot, conceding tons of goals and win Jack shit, then good for you.
Id rather we play boring and win shit.

It’s a moot point, you’re gonna find something to stick it to him irrespective of what the team achieves. We could win the CL, PL or/and the FA cup and you’ll still bitch that we got knocked out of the Milk Cup.
We ain't winning shit.

Whilst Modos new found negativity towards klopp is massively jarring and OTT, I feel like he has a point.

I was talking about it last night and I'm not sure we're going to win nearly as much as we should.

Obviously I hope I'm massively wrong though

The only time we "played boring" under Benitez was in the league, and we didn't win shit. Ironically, when we actually won stuff it was because we had to win and he had to let us off the leash. We didn't play well in many of the finals but it wasn't a case of being boring, we just opened up to try to win and left ourselves vulnerable. In cup games we were as entertaining as anyone.

He didn't "play boring and win shit". If you're going to repeatedly champion Benitez, at least be right about the facts.

You should maybe look at the 3 DM comment someone made about Benitez before telling me that I got the facts wrong.

It has all gone a bit stale with this set of players for sure but Klopp has hardly had the chance to put his best team out this season.

I'm still looking forward to seeing Coutinho, Mane and Salah play together, plus Lallana too. It's been ages since we've had both Mane and Coutinho match fit for a run of games and we were blowing teams away when they were.

Well you did.

The substitution in the league was symptomatic of Benitez failings at the time. We played Villa with Lucas and Mascherano in midfield and it was one of the worst midfield displays I've ever seen from a Liverpool team. He was losing the plot by then.

Oh and by the way, we didn't win. The game finished 1-1. That was the fucking point, he took off his best striker 25 minutes from the end in a crucial game where we were heading for 4th place.

So yeah, once again, get your facts straight.

I hope I'm dead wrong, I really don't care.
I honestly think we would have dropped points yesterday if Sturridge didn't score off that lucky deflection.

We won against Everton, didn't we.

What exactly should we be winning?

I can’t actually work out what you guys are arguing about.

Anyways, Binny, peekay et al are right in that it’s the wider infrastructure at the club that is lacking first and foremost. Arguing about this manager or that manager is pointless.

We won against Everton, didn't we.

What? The video is from Birmingham, where we drew, after he took off his best striker.

You replied with "we won didn't we?". No we didn't, no one mentioned any other specific game.

Cause I thought it was the classic Everton game. Didn't bother to watch it.

Klopp has a lot of learning to do and i'm still behind him, but Jan will change things if he doesn't buy a CB.

It's still early days and despite my concerns, it'd be ridiculous to think about sacking Klopp now. But those failings in the Summer cannot happen again and he needs to start showing he can organise the team and be more ruthless with in game decisions and his lineups. To give everyone a reprieve yesterday after the Spurs debacle was ridiculous. The same players will let him down in a couple of games and they shouldn't have futures here (Ming, Lovren, Can). Persevering with them, while promising players languish on the bench is baffling.

We won, scored 3 goals and kept a clean sheet. One disappointment from the Spurs game (Can) was benched, another was dropped due to injury during the warm up (Lovren) so there’s nothing really to argue about except, I’m guessing, Modo being Modo.

Top four and cup win = he gets another season.
Miss top four and don't win cup = he should be sacked.
Newcastle finishing ahead of us = Get Rafa.

Have we ever had anyone with a worse goal celebration than Firmino?

I personally had an aversion to Heskey's laboured DJ celebration. Alan Kennedy's random hopping after scoring in the European Cup final was hopeless, but when you've scored in a European Cup final you can celebrate how the hell you like!

Was it Robbie Keane that did the Milkybar Kid goal celebration? I hated that.

The thing about Firmino, he doesn't have just one poor celebration – no, he switches them almost every time he scores and they are all equally awful! It's a rare talent that.
