Klopp got very lucky today. If it wasn't for a gift to the only composed Liverpool player on the pitch early in the second half we could easily have got nowt from this, and after that penalty taker decision.

Thoughts:
- Firmino - much better from him today. Seemed more confident, and his play late in the 1st half and until he was substituted turned the game.
- Studge scored a nice goal. Woland calls him 'composed' - but there's too many misses this year to highlight he's finished. He cannot play on the flanks, or drop back to get the ball. Stay in the middle of the pitch, and hopefully, he'll bury the next few chances he gets.
- Klavan is a mistake waiting to happen. He shouldn't be starting any premier league games. Games in the FA Cup & against Maribor only.
- Solid games from Gomez & Moreno.
- Matip has one goal in almost 2 years despite being 7'6". He should have far more - at least that would make us forget a bit about what an average defender he is despite the drooling from Modo.
- Henderson ... Ok ok, two great passes but after defending him for eons, I don't think he's worth having on the pitch. He passes safe every time, rarely takes the ball forward (Heck, Matip did that more than him in the game!), and just adds very little to chance the game. If he was a great DM, this would be acceptable but he's not that. He really shouldn't be playing with Milner/Gini ... It should be 2 of them and Coutinho (or Gurjic until Coutinho returns).

- Milner - great corners
- Salah - it was so obvious he'd miss the penalty. I sincerely hope that doesn't fuck him up like Bobby's penalty miss fucked him up the last 6 weeks.
- Ox - another good cameo. I hope he's turning it around now ...
- Solanke - do NOT understand why he was bought on with 10 minutes. This is precisely when you should be giving him more time to give him the chance to show what he's made of. Looks like a really good player.

Firmino was anonymous first half playing too deep
Until ~35-40 minutes, then he started playing better and was key in the build up play until he was subbed off.
At least that's how saw it ... though I may have lost brain cells cursing out the fucking penalty miss.

Studge was horrible - fell down every time he was touched, terrible touch etc ... That he scored such a class goal just highlights what he once was ...
Firmino was crap for 35-40 minutes and then was a really good creative force who created a few chances and scored a nice goal. Hopefully he finds his confidence - he's been really poor since that penalty miss.
Most of them went straight out of play or into the keeper's arms though.
