So it looks like Nando is out of favour at Chelsea, and is way way off form.

What do we think will happen to him? I'm not in any way suggesting we try to resign him, just interested to see what happens. I loved the guy, he gave me my greatest moment at Anfield in a CL Quarter vs Arsenal with a delightful turn and curling shot into the top corner right in front of me.

I think Chelsea are going to sell. Will he stay in the Premier League? Are there any major teams that would want to sign him?

I actually think he would be a good signing for Arsenal, who need a striker and he would find himself with a team built around feeding him as Arsenal are very much about trying to get their goals from strikers.

A move back to Spain might not be on the cards with Athletico flying and he just might not be the standard they need?

Any thoughts?

Apparently Inter want him but seen some quotes about him being too expensive and Chelsea should be reasonable about what they demand.

A.Madrid will likely lose Costa in the summer so a return might be on the cards providing he's willing to lower his wage demands.

Not sure where else he could go really. Italy seems his best bet if no-one back home will take him.

Part of me wants to take him back to see if he can stick it to Mourinho / Chelsea by finding some form again. I know that's stupid though!

Also, I've never had the Lemon & Herb sauce at Nandos. The spicy ones are too good to deviate from.

Chelsea really want Costa, so I can imagine Torres will be used as a makeweight. Athleti are likely to continue to harbour sentimental affection. The fact is he has completely lost the heart and fight that made him incredible for us at the beginning of his career. Maybe he'll find it again at his childhood club.

Perhaps, though I think Courtois will be more attractive to them as a makeweight.

Costa will rip up the league so this is bad news.
As for Torres the MLS is about his level these days.

I'd have agreed with that once, but he's been so poor for so long now that I can't believe there'd be anything in it for us any more. The Doc's post above has it just about right IMO.

I have a poor spice tolerance and quite often have one of the mild ones as the main sauce (mango & lime is actually quite nice) and then add on my own level of hot sauce as it is, as you say, quite nice.

It would be fairytale stuff if he came back and was able to be an impact sub and terrorise defences, especially from the through balls the likes of Hendo, Coutinho, Suarez, Gerrard are laying on at the minute. Imagine the Torres bounce returning. If he were able to perform, i'd love to see him back but I fear that his best days really are behind him and his mentality is one of regret and he just doesn't back himself.

I agree his best days are behind him (hence he should come cheap). However, playing alone up front in a disciplined Chelsea team is different than mixing in between a strong attacking line up. He is still smart and some confidence would do him good. We need another 2 good strikers to compete on all fronts next season, and I think Nando would grab his last chance with both hands.

Does anyone else think Nando's has really gone down hill? It used to be really nice, I fucking loved going to Nando's when I was a teenager, big portions, good chicken, yum. The last few years though it's been a right con, overpriced and disappointing, usually you're just served a little bit of chicken in a pathetic pitta, such a fall from grace.

I'm talking about the restaurants btw, not the footballer.

Serves you right for going to Nandos and ordering a Pitta. The same would apply for the burgers and wraps.

Indeed, who gets a pitta?

At the moment i'm working out of a hotel at the moment and get a generous expense budget which I quite often take to Nandos. I'm loving some of the new additions:

Butterfly Chicken
Luso Beans
Sweet Potato Mash
Macho Peas
Avocado

Bobs your uncle!

It's still pretty good value I think. I've never been the biggest fan but would rather it ahead of most.

When in London,Bodeans fills my bbq meat needs - now their platters really are something!

My first flat in London was right next to one - I went probably once a fortnight. It is amazing. Moved to a new part of London, it had a different BBQ place which challenged my loyalty (Cattlegrid) but now another Bodeans has opened where I live in Balham. Happy days!

My housemate once did a Boss Hog platter on his own. LAD

There are 175,000 reasons why Chelsea will struggle to offload the useless fecker, they will be lucky to loan him out whilst paying 3/4 of his wages. If he was a horse he would be in a pot of Bostick by now!

Why all the pitta hate?!

I think they give you about a half portion of chicken in a pitta, so a double chicken pitta delivers a comparable amount of chicken to a single butterfly chicken breast..

I have on occasion had a chicken wrap for lunch....

No. It's always been exactly what it is. A profit generator for investors and the stock market. Has no culinary value. what's happened is you've grown older and realised it is utter shite marketed to people who haven't work that out yet.

I'd take him back for the 6 million quoted earlier...need a bigger squad for the champs league next year. He can get fucked if he thinks he's taking the number 9 jersey off Aspas though.
