I'd rather buy some quality than no one.
No one would have picked Moses over mkhitaryan, willian, or costa; but if we can get him at low cost (under 8m) I think we've done as well as can be expected for a team out of Europe
You'd like to think our transfer committee have spent hours on end burning the midnight oil coming up with a plan of who to target then as soon as someone, anyone comes available they're like "Fuck it, he'll do."
Agreed but its all relative so right now he would be right up there on my list. Plus the last Chelsea reject with a point to prove is working out quiet well no?
Good thread title btw.
We've already had God play for us, and Judas.
Why not Moses
The only one we'll be missing is Buddha
I think Rafa is doing a pretty good imitation in your avatar.
If my memory serves me, I think Rafa said he sat down so the people behind him could see.
Meh, I'm just pissed off we've now sunk to Moses when our transfer budget is in profit. I'm sure he would be an improvement on Aspas but it's hard to swallow.
I was thinking, that we've done well with Chelsea rejects, until I remembered Mr short shorts.
MongyWho's that? I can only think of Johnson and Sturridge?
Chelsea want a £2million loan fee for the 22-year-old, but Liverpool will try to secure his release on reduced terms. Moses earns £55,000 a week at Chelsea and Liverpool are reluctant to match that.

The Times - Liverpool have made an approach to sign Victor Moses on loan from Chelsea
If you can bring yourself to look past the fact that
a) he's a loan
b) he's not costing us $30M
c) he's not some fancy foreign name
d) he used to play for Wigan
Then you'll see he's a decent footballer. He scored 10 goals for Chelsea last season, most of them as a sub, all of them from the wing. He's got good feet, he's strong, reasonably quick, quite obviously can make an impact, is 22, and won't need 12 months to adapt.
I'd take him for sure.
