June isn't over and

As I said in the Ayre thread, seems as he's always the first one to be blamed when things go tits up, he should be praised for this, it's been a great start to the window, hopefully it'll continue in the same vein.

Ayre is useless, etc.

If any other club had gone out and done that, they'd be getting creamed over by all the nay sayers. If any other club had gone out and got a big name replacement in for prick threatening to leave, we'd be praising their ruthlessness.

And the lizards. Seeing as they're 'fucking us', the work on the ground is really happening, and they're continuing to back the manager with bagloads of cash.

Yeah, they certainly look like they've had this all planned well & have acted decisively.

The big one is the striker though. They fuck that up & all that hard work may come to nothing.

If they've worked as hard on that then I'll be singing their praises.

It also puts the ball firmly in Rodgers court, should he fuck this up he has no excuses.

Aye, spades in the ground, relatively big spending each Summer. The idea that we're deliberately selling to paper cracks is bollocks. We've tried to reduce a spiraling wage budget that was suffocating the club, so we can work within a sustainable set up.

We threw money at Suarez to keep him for a season and help us challenge, it nearly paid off, Sterling is just a rotten apple, it happens to most clubs.

Not good enough.

Where is the marquee signing?

Arsenal have signed Cech yet LFC settle for Bogdan.

Juventus another team that has big history signed Mandzukic, we've settled for Danny FuckIngs.

Typical LFC

We've signed Milner, Ings, Bogdan, Joe Gomez and Firmino.

That's some swift, decisive business being done.

And it should be acknowledged

Plus rosco being all positive and effusive on several points. It's a whole new world.

Taxi Harley for Ayre.

Nah, Ayre gets the Seal of Approval for now

In this brave new era of lowered expectations signing some kid who 4% of us have ever seen kick a ball and 27% of us thought they might have heard of him before represents a massive leap forward.

Much like Suarez and Coutinho!

Same pattern last summer and the summer before: sign a back-up striker very early (Aspas, Lambert, Ings) and leave the main striker acquisition for later. Last summer it brought us Balotelli in the last few days of the window when we ran out of options, the summer before there was nobody. They better not repeat this pattern again.

With Ings, Origi and Firmino signed, you're expecting another striker? I think that this may be it for recruiting in the forward department.

We still need a DM and RB.

Most of the journos are adament that Firmino has nothing to do with us getting a striker.
Ayre is still in South America. Hopefully going for either Rondon or Bacca.

I don't really know where Firmino fits in if we sign another striker. A number 10 is pretty much the last position that needed strengthening.

I'm glad we're getting business done, I'm just not sure it's being done to a coherent plan yet.

I'm sure Lambert will go, there's bound to be interest in him from lower down the league. The other two we really need to move are Borini and Balotelli.

Anything else would be a bonus. We can get all our business done without them.

ac Milan were so lucky getting rid when they did. Surely some rich cunts from a shit league will be interested.

The three of them will go. I suppose then we're still a bit overstocked, but if we buy another striker then it's not too bad. Competition is good, we just see the best players come to the fore and the team automatically improve, with quality in reserve. That's what we all want, right?
