Its got tits, bar fights, small town mentality and most importantly the single coolest performance ever by the man in my avatar.

Cant watch it now, bedtime, got my second ever driving lesson at 7.30 in the morning before gym & then a 10 hour shift in work. Loooonnnggg day ahead.

PS-driving for the first time was fucking scary. 30mph felt stupidly fast & I felt like a child that couldnt do his shoelaces up.

It's remarkable how fast driving becomes completely natural.

Also, Titanic is aces. Last time I watched it was in Amsterdam, tripping on psychedelic truffles. I'm not sure I've ever been so emotionally invested in a movie.

They can also fcuk off with their 35m offer. Cheeky cnuts.
 
There's also something about us being in for Figueroa (left-back, Wigan) for 6m or so.
 
Torres is 26, and i really hope we get joe cole. he would be a massive improvement and can fill a few positions 🙂
 
Signing Joe Cole would also be a positive signal towards our key players who are considering moves.
 
I recall JC gushing with praise about the big game atmosphere at Anfield and how he loves playing there....if we add that he's virtually guarenteed a 1st team spot, maybe it's not beyond the realms of possibility he could pick us.

On the other hand, Cole is a cleverer player with more big-game experience. And - not unimportantly, given our finances - would cost about £25m less than Ashley Young.
 
I have to admit I thought Joe Cole was a lot older than what he is, so haven't really been excited at the prospect of signing him. But he's 28, if we could sign him on a free that'd be excellent.

He's only 3 years older than Ashley Young, and I think we'd be paying well over the odds for Young. I've always been a fan of Young, but really at 25, we're still talking about his 'potential', he's not worth anywhere near £20mill.
 
asmuch as i would love ashley young, he would cost around 25mil. joe cole on the other hand has no fee and say we give him wages he wants, would still cost much less than young, and is better 🙂
cheaper and better.. not many times you can say that

Not sure how true this is but reports now coming through on Radio City too, just heard Joe Cole has held talks with Hodgson today and has agreed to join, set to put pen to paper in the next 24...

I'd be cautious for those reasons if we were signing him for a big fee and we weren't in our current state, but it 'could' turn out beautifully (if true).
