Seriously, what the fuck is with the mass hysteria over this.

Regardless of the FA's verdict on Suarez, he clearly didn't think he was guilty, probably hates Evra for missing eight key matches of our season, Evra moves his hand away. Big deal, they don't fucking shake hands.

"Suarez is a disgrace".."Suarez shouldn't play for us again".. etc.

Just listen to yourself.

If a Sunderland player accuses a WBA player of racism who where we to judge if it were one players word against the others? Whom you believe the most? That's just not the way the world works.

Every one with eyes can see Evra is just as much a 'prick' on the pitch as Suarez can be. Hadn't he been it'd never had come to this. My United-fan friends dislike Evra loads because of his sheer lack of sportsmanship.

This has all gone so extremely one-dimensional, that's what tabloid journalism always thrive to mind, and that's what really buggers me.

FA are the main culprit here no matter how you look at it.

John Terry who has been caught on 'effin camera using a much stronger language than what Suarez is even accused of, still hasn't got any ban?

If he wasn't going to shake his hand then tell the club so we could skip handshakes as chelsea and QPR did.

Kenny has supported him (rightly or wrongly) though the whole affair but luis has made a twat out of kenny and the club.
 
Are you ignoring the fact Evra didn't offer his hand? Both Suarez and Evra acted like a pair of kids.

But that's not why.

He made a statement which he didnt think was racist; but which definitely wound Evra up.
If he knew it was racist the damn moron would have denied everything, something our nincompoop lawyers should have told him to do anyway.

Then we make a hash of things by letting the FA dance to Fuckerson's tune without a proper strategy, and we let ourselves get railroaded into looking like the KU Klux Klan.

That's why Suarez (and LFC) deserves our support at least, because we stupidly let it happen.

Well, refusing to shake his hand makes it look more like he was innocent, it's entirely rational from that perspective. However, the more worrying thing is that Kenny seems to have totally lost his grip on the situation. It looks like he was expecting Suarez to shake hands and was as surprised as most other people when he didn't. Then, as others have pointed out, he emerges with a bizarre defense. The club is a shambles right now. Heads will roll.
 
I think people are choosing to ignore the evidence here.
Suarez is quite clearly approaching Evra apparently with every intention of shaking hands (although I don't see that he has to at all), Evra clearly positions his arm further back and lower than the previous handshakes and also does not have the thumb as open. There is a clear reluctance, Suarez sees this and not unreasonably assumes that Evra is not going to do it and to avoid any further conflict and being made a twat out of moves on to the next player.
Evra has , yet again, been very clever in making Suarez the bad-boy and himself the victim.

Trying to be fairly objective and as neutral as I can over this, but given this image who would you say looked like they wanted to shake hands less?

The trouble is we have now once again, unfairly been tagged as the pariahs of English football and no neutral will speak up for us as they will unfairly be tagged with the racisit brush.

It does not help when so-called supporters are queuing up to stick the knife in.

As i said in another thread, Kenny should have been briefed before that interview. The fact he wasn't is appalling. That simply would not have happened at any other top club.

I can't see Ayre lasting too much longer TBH.

If we tolerate insults Graham this site tends to descend into farce. Asbo is quite welcome to continue making posts but the insulting behaviour isnt welcome.

I don't know what to think about Luis Suarez, but I tend to side with Peter Hague on this issue.

If he had told Dalglish that he would shake his hand then he should have made damn sure he did so. I can't be arsed closely examining footage of a handshake, but he definitely did not make as much effort as he could have done. This has contributed to his manager embarrassing himself to the national media and making our club, yet again, look foolish and amateur.

As Gerry said, it's a well-timed photo. Watch the video instead. Suarez appears to offer his hand momentarily and then quickly moves sideways.

Evra wanted to make Suarez make more of an action towards him, but Luis never had any intention to shake it. He knew what he was doing.
 
There is absolutely no doubt in my mind that Fersuson is roaring with laughter behind closed doors at all of the shit he's causing Kenny and Liverpool. He couldn't give a shit about "racism" or that fag Evra's feelings or handshakes.

It doesn't surprise me to see the media following along however it's shocking to see so many Reds "fans" falling in line with that despicable old piece of shite.
