Can someone paint Roy yellow in Photoshop cause right there he reminds me of "The Yellow Bastard", with hair.

Although some slight doubts are starting to creep in.
I said it before and I say it again, until we get another striker and play 442 we will struggle to score goals

We're 5 points off 3rd and 4th having played Utd, City and Arsenal.

The corresponding fixtures last season:

v Arsenal at home we lost - a point gained
v Birmingham away we drew - the same
v City away we drew - a point lost
v Utd away we lost - the same
v WBA at home - (let's replace them with let's say Stoke) - The same
v Sunderland at home - 2 points lost.

So we're 2 points worse off than last season at this point. Hodgson wouldn't have been my first choice by a long shot and he may very well prove to be not good enough but sack him already? Get a grip.

At least I can put a reasoned argument to something rather than standing from the sidelines calling everyone a "cunt" or "giving them a shoeing". Boring twat.

This has to be the team from now on.

Hopefully you'll get more interesting.

Haha, Whaddapie's thinks we're all "eejits" after his car-crash of a thread, and he's locked it.

Mental.

I'll go with this for now but I'm really starting to worry yet another season is about to end before it's really started.

Well the Title race is over before September ends, another new record for Roy, to go with his 5 wins on the trot in Europe.

5 points off 3rd would be fine if we had played 15 games....it's the 5 off 3rd before September's ended that's worrying.

Of course it's worrying but we have to factor in the teams we've played in that short space of time. It doesn't warrant sacking the manager yet.

absolutely agree....only a few class A mentalists are asking for him to leave after 6 games.

Comparing the points from same fixtures last season is futile.

How do we know that we will points against the teams we did well against last season? I have seen absolutely no evidence in Hodgson's game plan to suggest that our form will improve when we start facing weaker sides.

* His match day tactics has been - lets see out the first half and try and nick a point or three in the second half. This is the same regardless of the standard of the opposition we have faced. Last season we were better than that. I'm sorry.
* Him choosing to play Meireles ahead of Gerrard for the second game in a row is baffling. It truly is. I can't think of any other manager who would do that.
* Poulsen seems to have established himself as a firm favorite to start in spite of doing absolutely nothing in over 200 minutes of football.
* His idea of giving a chance to youngsters is "Lets try and throw them all in one game and play them out of position - we must get a result". When the result does not go his way, he has reacted by dropping every single one of them from the squad for the next game.
* The less i speak of his in-game tactical changes, the better it is.

He is a safety first manager who actually believes that finishing around 10th place is good enough because he has the relevant excuses. His actions in the game says that, his press conferences and post match interviews state that....everything about him states exactly that.

I see nothing but mediocrity ahead. What is the point of continuing? There is an argument for acting swiftly while we can still salvage something out of this season. A Uefa cup spot will be a pipe dream at this rate.....

What will you say if we lose our next game too? Would your stand point change then?

Bottom line is - we wanted a manager who can improve on last season. Roy Hodgson is not that manager.

If another person says ...."the liverpool way" i will throw my neighbors child into a well...i swear.

Yeah, are they the same cunts who were calling Benitez (Two La Liga titles, a UEFA cup, an FA cup, A European Cup, runner-up in the league) a 'useless fat twat'?

And wanted the geriatric mediocre Budgie - or anyone - to replace him?

That type of fucking mentalist cunt?

You dismal joke

Because they were wrong, possibly.

And who else wants to manage us?
