I hate to say it, but....

Liverpool boss Roy Hodgson on his side's 2-2 draw with Sunderland:"There are no easy home wins in the Premier League, you have to fight for everything. The way we came back from 2-1 down was very commendable and towards the end of the game we were creating a lot of chances. We deserved our point."

It's comments like these that really fill me no confidence whatsoever about the capabilities of Roy miraculously turning the flippin corner.

pops head through thread door and fucks off back to the bar where i´ve watched the game from in magaluf..

I'm depressed, but I'm not sure what Roy could've done to improve today's game. Clue me in, otherwise I cannot place the blame on Roy alone.

Not played Meireles out wide on the right perhaps? And played him in the middle with Gerrard? Maybe played Cole behind Torres instead of sticking him out on the left?

We were playing Sunderland at home, not the Scum at Old Toilet again.

Kenny or a young, hungry manager with ideas. Yes. Said this since it was obvious Benitez was going.

Anyone but fucking Budgie

I'm sticking with him.

Yep. We aren't going to find any manager who will do anything overnight, let alone a good one. We need to either get Kenny in, or my preference is someone like Simon Grayson at Leeds. A young, hungry manager full of ideas could be exactly what we need. Keep Roy until Christmas at least anyway.
Yep, I wanted Benitez out because I thought we desperately needed a change and fresh motivation and hunger. It's not happened as yet, and right now its hard to be confident that it will, but I'm prepared to be patient.

If nothing improves then I agree Kenny has to be given the job.

justified caution at home;

arsenal
manu
chelsea
city - maybe, but they are rivals for a CL place
spurs - maybe, but they are rivals for a CL place

and that is fucking IT, everyone else we should be getting after from the first whistle, the game may not pan out that way but that what we should ATTEMPT to do.

It's comments like these that make me want to knock seven shades out of him. A liverpool manager should be fucking furious that we drew at home after taking the lead, never mind having to come back to do it. We were playing Sunderland at the end of the day as well, by no means an easy team to take points off but it's not like they're got £100M worth of talent across just 2 positions, we should have gone out there set up to fucking leather them, but no we go and play a fucking defensive formation again.

I am *really* enjoying watching all the 'anyone but fucking Benitez, even if it's Budgie' dickheads squirming

Don't Worry Everton will sack Moyes soon, and we can grab him
he's a better manager than roy

*runs*

I don't think Rafa would have us in a better position right now and I reckon we'd have lost a few key players if Rafa stayed. When Roy became manager I was happy enough with that, couldn't understand why Kenny wasn't given a chance but Roy was the zeitgeisty choice. I think we are running out of time to save the season and I can't see how Roy will turn it around, tis time to go, already.
