where exactly are you getting I don't like defensive players? one of my favorite EVER liverpool players is sami, do you want to know why? because in the ten years I watched him I hardly ever saw him dive into a tackle. he could read the game and snuffed out danger before it happened.
my point about fullbacks is if you have a team that has little to no width (as has been the case for liverpool for fucking YEARS) then it should be common fucking SENSE for the fullbacks to push on, its not fucking rocket science and to not do so is IDIOCY.
I don't rate skrtel because he has no positional sense, why on this fucking green earth would I not rate him if I thought he was good at his job?
as for mascherano I never said he is shit I've said I think he is overrated, we're talking about a holding midfielder that pretty much mispasses 3 times out of every 10 attempts. if he leaves and we take that money and spend it on someone who and shield the defense AND pick out a pass, we'll be better off.
why on earth do you continually bring up babel, as if I thought babel were the best player in the world? I think babel (along with most wingers in this country) is headless and I wouldn't be bothered in the slightest if he were sold, I 'DEFENDED' him because I thought he should have been given more games. my opinion of mascherano and babel are entirely independent of each other.
