So, five games in, after an initial blip, the answer is a resounding yes, he's been superb the last few games.

What's he got to redeem himself for? Having a major injury and taking a while to get back to full fitness, due to playing through the pain barrier for most of the last year?

Surprised some of his stats dropped in 2014/15 compared to the previous year – I honestly thought he had a better season in 2014/15, when he was our assist leader. This year is a small sample size, obviously, but he seems to be very much on the right track.

I dunno. There are hints in both the guardian and telegraph versions of this story that Klopp is 'reinventing' Henderson as a deep-lying midfielder. I get that he's played there before under Brendan and Hodgson, but maybe Klopp and his staff are good enough coaches, and Henderson is intelligent enough that he can learn the new position and excel in it.

Dunno, really.

Very impressive stats, the clips Modo shared of Hulls defending really highlights how often he's picking up the ball and moving it around. I've always praised Henderson for being the best passer of the ball in the squad, however I was always doubtful whether he could run a game from the back like he has been. Klopp has worked wonders on Jordan, and I imagine having Matip behind him helps too, as he's been sensational, long may it continue.

Is it really that great a stat? I mean it's not bad, but I'm not sure it means much, without adding the context of what the passes were. Other than its obviously a tactic to pass to him an awful lot.
