Do not like United is only at 10/1 to sign him with SkyBet.

Spurs favorites, then us, AC Milan, United and Arsenal.

Perhaps because only people on here rate him? I've only seen him play during internationals but you have to ask why the scouts of numerous teams haven't said "he's the one for us"?

If its 10m euros then that's a steal and you have to wonder why we haven't put in a bid.

Well, you have to wonder why no one has put a bit in until this stage. He's been touted everywhere all Summer and seen his transfer fee plummet and genuine interest be fairly scarce. It seems he's a back up option for a few sides if speculation is true, and judging by players that the likes of us and Spurs have missed out on, it doesn't sound like he's anyone's second choice either.

Piss poor backing from the club to make a push for 4th if spurs pull this sighing off as well

Why? Because Spurs have chosen to sign him? It doesn't sound like we were even that interested so why is them signing him a reflection in ANY way on us? The difference between us is, while we've both missed out on Willian, we don't seem content to sign any Johnny no-mark, so the likes of YOU can then lay into the player and the club a month or so down the line, because of how shit the player turned out.

Spurs have some quality players and they out nearest challengers to 4th

So cus we haven't some quality attacking players, we are content?

Seriously you don't believe that?

As Piedro and other have pointed out it would seem we have to sell before we buy

I remember early in the window that he was touted for a move to Dortmund too. That they swooped for Mkhitaryan instead was both surprising and interesting.

Ljajic, Eriksen, Lamela......going going going.
Meanwhile over on SCM the housemates discuss who won the first goal conceeded competition.

FOL.

We'll do this Chelsea style.

Let them think they have him and then....

BAM!

We've paid £6M for a Spanish second tier player.

This is grade A talent and we are looking at one of the bargains of the window if the quoted figures are true.

We are an absolute shambles as a club if we are not all over this. It's ok to feel frustrated.

"Johnny No-mark"

Tsk tsk

How is it that Spurs who have no Champions League and are losing their star player, are able to attract and sign these top players whilst we are nowhere to be seen?

All the talk leading up to the summer was that we had cash and were going to improve the first team. Rodgers even said so. However, nothing has materialised.

Whoever is responsible for doing the deals at LFC isn't doing their job and should be replaced.

Dear Liverpool FC. Shut up and listen.

Buy this premature baldy. Don't make this into another mistake in the Laudrup mould.

This is "Johnny Bravo" not his daft cousin "No-mark".

He'll go to Spurs and probably be a success. Thats just the way it is.
For 10 mill Euros we should have been all over that

He's overrated, but for 10m euros, you can't go wrong. that is almost the same about for an unknown 20 yrs old spanish lad who had one good season in the second tier.
