He's decent to have in reserve and always seems to perform in the big games, give or take the odd one. He's your typical divisive midfielder though, the water carrier, keeping everything going by recycling the ball well and turning defense into attack with the drop of the shoulder in tight spots. Him and Lallana were pretty invaluable in that sense previously, but we now have a few options on that note.
I think if a fairly sizable offer came in, we'd have to consider it, same with Lallana, as both will have fallen down the pecking order, but I'd certainly have one of them retained for adding depth. Lallana is more effective but injury prone, Gini offers less in the way of direct impact, but is a bit of a Duracell bunny.
