@FFCTakeMeHome: Definitely a tactical plea that. Fatigued players, on form liverpool and a £12m striker to get fit. Cant believe the Prem will fall for that

From a Fulham fan.
Christ, there are appaz two overground train stations 15 mins from Craven.
And millions of people get to and from work without any trouble due to replacement buses.

We'll definitely want it played.

They're taking the fucking biscuit, me and millions of other commuters get to work for 8am every day, I'm sure there guys can be there for 8pm. It's horseshit, if they can't get enough stewards, either hold it behind closed doors (no need for stewards then) or forfeit the points, you'll notice as soon as they stand to lose out for the gate receipts suddenly it'll be completely workable. Have the FA/Premier League stated their position on this matter yet?

The statement had that sound to it that the FA have given them the green light to postpone it.
Surley we have some say in this?

The west London club feared they would not have the required staff numbers to safely operate a match if the Tube is unavailable. The nearest overground station is Putney and that is a 20-minute walk from Craven Cottage.

Hahaha, a 20 min walk so they must postpone it?! Fuck right off with this shite

@TonyBarretTimes: Ray Wilkins suggested the game could be off on Talksport this morning. I asked Liverpool & they'd heard nothing from Fulham. Not good.

They've listed 6 alternative travel possibilities on their own website and have known about the strike since the 10th of January.
It will be ridiculous if they get it postponed. Knowing the FA, they probably will aswell.

I hope they get relegated.

While it's pretty shit if it does get called off I wouldn't mind. We have no fixture congestion and a weeks rest to our next game is no biggie.

Im surprised given our history that nobody understands the need for fan safety to be the no1 concern here, regardless of Fulhams motivation

London kinda grinds to a halt with no tube service.

I don't think anyone here is actually disregarding fan safety, just showing their bemusement that a 20 minute walk or heaven forbid... buses seem to be a bridge to far for Fulhams match day staff.

I want it played, momentum.

Hang on a cockin pickin minute..

How far is the nearest train station to Anfield... ?? ? ?? about a twenty minute walk....

We should postpone all home games on that basis...

Feckin lazy Cockney basterds

Considering our last 2 games against "shite" after a big game I wouldn't mind it called off.
No doubt there should be a way to get stewards to the ground but if they can't or won't have full numbers the game must be postponed

They appaz want it played on the 26th of March.
We play Cardiff away before that and Tottenham the next weekend.
Thats a shite week and not good for us.

Fucking hell Dreamy. Our match finished at 1.05 on Saturday! Fulham were pummelled for 95 minutes and finished at 5.50pm on Sunday.

When will there be a better time to play them?

Come on Ayre, make yourself useful - hire some fan coaches and ride in front of them on the Harley, all the way to Lahnden!

We'll just sit back and accept whats coming imho.
Hopefully the other teams in the relegation zone makes some noise, like West Ham.

I think one of my all time most loathed pet hates is someone using hillsborough to justify a point completely fucking unrelated to a police botch job in a falling down unfit for purpose stadium with inadequate stewarding and a host of culpable figures of 'responsibility'

'You think we'd know better........'

Fuck off.

didnt these fuckers play at home last week during the tube strike - utter bollocks - the nearest tube is miles away anyway.
