The campaign, which has adopted the #FreeShinji hashtag on twitter, has been trending all morning in Germany in anticipation of a global, online flash mob set for 19:09 Central European Time (10:09am ET for U.S. readers), which of course is an honor to Dortmund’s founding in 1909.
