Apart from Ireland v France, there is no decent footy on so thank goodness for UFC and boxing.
Matthew Hatton was on last night and was unlucky not to get the decision against Lovemore N'dou. Not a classic fight and Hatton obviously lacks the 'world class' ability of his brother, but he boxed well enough to probably nick it. There was a good fight on the undercard (cant remember names) which was a blast - worth looking up for the double knockdown!
As for tonight - we could well have the fight of the year in Pacquiao v Cotto. This has the potential to be an absolute stormer and I cant wait. I'm definitely watching this live tonight - well done Sky Sports for putting it on.
I'm going to go for a Cotto win. I think he will stop Manny by about Round 7 as I just feel he might have a bit too much power. That said, if Manny can reproduce the handspeed he showed against De la Hoya and the power he showed against Hatton, it would be hard to bet against him. Plus, Roach is an excellent tactician.
Add in UFC before that and we are set up for a great night!!
Bring it on.
