Fletcher - United.
Its fucking rock solid.
Only 2 of my team are from teams outside the top 6 and they all play in the positions ive played them at, no square pegs in round holes.
And we'll have to disagree on Valencia. If hes good enough for Fergie at RB hes good enough for me.

Yes. It definetly does, happy enough with my striker, but would like someone better behind him. Someone excellent there and I would be top four.

I think it's really highlighted the paucity of good CBs.

A few years ago the EPL had Hyypia, Carra, Vidic, Ferdinand, Terry, King, Carvalho - all top class centre-backs.

Kompany and Ivanovic are the only two in that bracket today. There's hardly anyone else. Maybe Vertonghen.

Like i said, Agbonlahor wasnt an ideal fit as nowadays he plays wider, but hes no stranger to CF. And it was him with his pace and skill or some fucking anti-football thug like Holt.
I think I set my stall out early with early picks for De Guzman and Barkley...you all know what my philosphy is. Strong technically gifted footballers with pace who can keep possession. Ive probably foregone a bit of steel (although Fletcher and Kaboul helped late on) but im happy with the balance.
On the left Naughton and Mate will cause problems, on the right Valencia and Young will cause problems and the middle three of De Guzman, Barkley and Agbonlahor are all plenty good enough.
Like i said its not perfect and I lost a lot of my picks by going for Ferdinand and De Gea early but ive built a strong side on the back of that hard spine.
Im ok. Im confident of what we can achieve.

I was kinda going for balance with the two wide men, an experienced top quality left back, with a young exciting left winger, a young talanted right back, and experienced right winger ahead of him. The defence might be cunty, but they are mostly consistent winners. I just need someone better than Taarabt, but what can you do....

Gotta say I'm evry happy with this side.

Very solid keeper, Best left back in the league with 2 very defensively sound CB's

2 different attacking styles in my wide players with Lennons pace and Rosisky's trickery

Defensively sound CM that will protect the back four when the wingers push on.

And up front you couldn't ask for a better partner for RVP than Arshavin who when played with him was superb.

Add in the fact that Rosisky will link up excellantly with the top 2 I see my team getting the goals needed against any of the teams picked.

That's a decent side, surprised you didn't put Brad Jones in goal though. You have two outstanding players, but you have two or three fairly weak players, I would think it's a top half team anyway.

I am genuinely delighted with my team. Really happy to get Naughton and Kaboul as my last two picks as I was genuinely expecting Bramble and Brown esque players.

If we were doing it again I would probably go with a striker earlier as Agbonlahor is i think my weakest link.
I love my young and exciting midfield, and im very happy with my flanks on both sides, and Kaboul, Ferdinand and De gea is a cracking base to build on.

The plan is to do a fantasy league for the coming season, with the selection process being a draft.

We won't be using traditional fantasy football scoring - the idea will be to reward players for the contributions they make to their team winning or losing.

We're going to limit the numbers to 12, regular posters will be given preference - as will those who will actually pick regularly.

The rules aren't set at the moment, I think it might be best to agree them between us at the outset.
