FALSE ALARM! HENDERSON NOT INJURED!

Yup. Last time Studge got injured it was Hodgson telling him he needed players willing to fight though their niggles to play with Ingurland.
Hodgkin has a duty of care to the players clearly he does not give a fuck over covering his arse because it could mean he's fired for not performing. For me it's bullshit

I'm merely speculating, I have no idea if thats their thought process, I reckon most of the England set up (not the players) think a game for England is more important than being fit for their club though.

If he's not 100% and comes back injured, then someone needs to run down that old owlfaced cnt!

Fuck me. The dithering old cunt has brought forth my hatred. Fuckin face rubbing twat. I hope he gets fucking slaughtered 5-0 as Henderson pulls out of tackle after tackle.

Surely having internationals at the end of the season mean that all the best players will be fucked up for preseason every year.

I actually think spreading the games out through the season is probably the best way.

I don't know how it'd work with major tournaments every 2 years involving European nations.

How many internationals do we have per season? So, if there was no internationals how much shorter would the season be?

So do you mean no internationals at all - no Euros or World Cup - because if the internationals where all played at the end of the season rather than during, then "the season" would be the same length.

The impact would be that the domestic season would finish mid-April - giving less time to cover re-scheduled games, ruling out a mid-season break for some leagues, etc.

As much of a pain in the arse as it is - the current structure is probably best.

No internationals not even friendlies. It would finish at least 4 weeks earlier. So there is 4 months which gives players enough time to recuperate and play internationals.

We should change the thread title. No need to scare ourselves with a HENDERSON INJURED thread on the first page of the forum.

So the league finishes at Easter.

I'm going to say no to that.
