Its a shame he's surrounded by 10 of the most deeply average players to grace the league this year.

They were terribly unlucky against Everton to lose to an own goal, with Borini coming close twice. Thought they put up a good fight, which was surprising given what Poyet had to say after the heavy defeat by Spurs. Unfortunately, it must be really deflating to have lost the way they did in the weekend game.

I think they've more (albeit still minute) chance of getting a draw at Stamford Bridge in the weekend, compared to the Eithad Stadium in midweek, given that Chelsea have a much less creative attack. If Sunderland put in a few robust challenges early on against the Chelsea players, knowing they might be wary of getting injured and missing the midweek CL semi final against Atheltico Madrid, they might actually have a slim chance of intimidating the Chelsea side. Hard to see them getting anything from these games though.

If Poyet drops that horrendous cunt Vergini they might stand a chance of not conceding a goal early on.

Sunderland are rubbish.

I'm not expecting anyone to do us any favours with Chelsea.

If we want to win it, we have to win our last four games really.

I reckon we're at about 60% to win it now, we beat Norwich that won't change much, if we beat Chelsea, that'll be about 95%, then 98% if we beat Palace. Assuming the others win every game. I reckon at least one of City and Chelsea will drop some points, besides against us though. Winning the next three could be enough to do it.

They will get ground to a pulp by the Ganster's Codpiece and blown apart by the Oil Sheikh's Trinket. Really cannot see either game being anything other than 3 or 4 nil despite the Fab-tastic Borini.

I believe we will need to beat Norwich, Chelsea and Palace. That might be enough if Everton take something off Citeh.

Is TV Licker above or below window ?

Nah City for me.
That gives us some leeway to draw with Chelsea and win the other three.

If we can win the next 3 we don't need Chelsea to drop anything from their other games. I keep thinking - make it to Newcastle on top and we'll be good. But then I think of the sheer horror those City fans must have gone through almost tossing it away home to QPR. One game at a time. Norwich is a huge game for us. I have us at about 45% right now - beat Norwich and we'll be 55% if City and Chelsea have won their games this week.

Most bookmakers work on a 110% book so in a three horse race we are about 58% City are 32% and Chelsea are 20%.
Of course recent form, remaining fixtures and Chelsea being in Europe are all factored into their books but they are right more often than not.

If you had the choice, who would you rather Sunderland took points off, City or Chelsea?

Chelsea. Because:
1. City has games against other trickier opponents to drop points in, and I believe playing catch up will eventually take its toll.
2. If somehow we don't win it in the end, I want City to win it instead of that disgusting lot in London.

Borini is piss weak.
There's no way he's scoring against either of these two big boys.
There. I've said it.
I honestly think it.
May I long be derided for being wrong and presumptuous.

I just noticed that Sunderland are playing City on Wednesday and then Chelsea three days later on Saturday, whilst City are playing their next game on Monday. Hardly seems fair!

It was always going to be a tough ask for Sunderland to get anything out of Chelsea but three days after being run ragged by City - hmmm!

I'd prefer them to take points of city, simply cos then we could get a draw against Chelsea & if we win the other 3 we still win the league.

Honestly though, they're unlikely to do either, so let's just try to concentrate on winning our games.

I've come to the conclusion he's never gonna be a good squad option for us and I think we should be looking to offload during the summer. That said, he should get a lifelong contract if he scores and Sunderland take points off both the Chavs and City.

Prediction
City 6-0 Sunderland
Chelsea 3-0 Sunderland
