Suarez and Henderson could use the rest; maybe Lucas. But I'll play Coutinho - he missed the entire October and half of September. No reason he should be as tired as the others. Besides, against these teams, it's always good to have that flair player or two to help kill them off early. Alberto can play in place of Henderson; I'd like to see how Coutinho and him play together over 90 minutes.

In all my years watching football I can't remember the last time the 1st team "kill off" a weaker team early in the cups.

Usually it's a bunch of semi-disinterested super pros going through the motions as a bunch of desperate half-crazed psyched up Conference League pub team send flying two-footed tackles and should rams into their delicate knees.

Cue an injury or two before the manager sends on a teenager to rescue a draw.
Next match: All tired as fuck and demoralized.

Matt Smith moved to Leeds I think. Thats at least a 6"6 striker we dont have to face tomorrow.

James Tarkowski is probably their best player.

LOF doesn't seem to be showing this or any FA Cup matches. Are there likely no streams at all?

I understand the sentiments. But Feelings on one side and reality on the other side. FA cup is going nowhere and I believe that this season is our best chance to get back in top 4 because of the uncertainty , frrack we can finish even above 4. I dont wanna lose this chance,

Regarding this game, We know that if we defend set pieces we will easily win this game, the game is at anfield so we will surely score at least 1 or 2 goals, it will matter how many we conceded, i think at anfield this season i dont remember conceding more than 2 goals, that too against Notss County. We just have to make sure that starting 11 are giving 100% and not playing casually.
 
We should play our strongest team, we have a week until our next fixture. If one fixture a week is too much for the boys we best not qualify for Europe as 2 games will kill them.
 
Normally I would agree, but not after the Christmas periode and With the injuries we have.
Its the perfect match to play some of the fringe and younger players.
Bit of a difference playing Oldham at Anfield then i e Benfica away in the CL.
 
Ok - Suarez, Johnson & Henderson are know. To be carrying knocks - so resting them is a great idea. Aspas, Toure/Kelly & Alberto in please.

Cissoko needs games in the event playing more encourages him to show some sort of form.

Keep Skrtel & Agger together in the hope they remember what it's like to be a central defensive partnership.

Gerrard is coming back - games will speed up his return to match fitness.

Coutinho & Sterling need to keep playing games - it will help improve their sharpness.

I'd play Lucas, simply because a returning Gerrard and 2 other inexperienced kids isn't the way to go.

There's no TV channel showing our game anywhere yet.

This happened a few years back & supersport picked up a couple of hours before kick off, it happened a couple of years before & wasn't broadcast in the UK but I watched via a live feed from an obscure satellite through my pc (but hard to explain but they broadcast it in a format that most satellite boxes can't display so you need to stream it to your pc to watch it from your box).

Unfortunately all the games today I found the details for the live feeds for on feed hunting websites but couldn't get them on my dish so I've got fuck all chance of being able to grab it & restream it I'm afraid.

Have to hope a TV station grab the rights or a streaming service can get the live feed on their bigger dishes. Hard to imagine a TV station not getting it as today Huddersfield v Grimsby Macclesfield v sheff wed & Rochdale v Leeds are on three European channels, but stranger things have happened.

For some reason LOF only have the Arse Spurs game today, which seems odd. Maybe they are boycotting the FA Cup 🙂
 
That's all they have listed, but did you check the channels earlier? I'd be surprised if they didnt show the city game.

I suspect the matches being on random channels has meant they're not bothering updating the guide in case they struggle to get them.

Apparently smoothstreams /starstreams are ace at getting live feeds usually but I have never been a member & can't get an invite for love nor money.
 
They have a dedicated BT Sport channel, so assume the earlier match was on that. I just tried a few of their other channels & cant find any of the 3pm KOs

No matter I'll try tomorrow - worst comes to the worst I'll just have to follow the Sky Sports live commentary and SCM Match thread combo
 
ESPN Australia have a stack of games on, but not the Liverpool game.
 
It would be amazing if one of Texeira, Brad Smith or Rossiter got a shot. And Ibe please.

Imagine the disaster it would be for our season if Suarez were to get injured in this game? and to a lesser extent Coutinho or Henderson.

These games are where we should use our squad otherwise whats the point in having a squad?, if some of our international players and fringe players can't get past this lot then fuck them really, we should comfortably beat Oldham at Anfield without our big guns.

Smith wasn't training with the first team, surprisingly.
Also, sources say that the only youth players involved will be Rossiter and Brannagan,

Feel sorry for Teixeira who imo owns them both. I bet there's a fee we have to pay Sporting if we play him or something.

Then you are in agreement with me it seems. There was only ONE youth in the team I agreed with above (Mark's) but there were plenty of quality players (Toure, Alberto etc.) who if they aren't good enough to beat Oldham shouldn't be in our squad !
My point being our squad players should be used at this stage as this is one of the few chances we will have to rest players heavily used over the festive period.
