Wow. Tonight is alright because we didn't lose to Exeter.
Yep because of the injury crises. We have a chance to put that right at Anfield.

Come on Lefty are you being deliberately obtuse? - it was a reserve team that we had to cobble together.Wow. Tonight is alright because we didn't lose to Exeter.
I'm really not. What a chance that was for lads who should be chomping at the bit to stake their claim. Irrespective of the names on the shirts a Liverpool team was lucky not to be knocked out of the cup by Exeter tonight.Come on Lefty are you being deliberately obtuse? - it was a reserve team that we had to cobble together.
Given our situation with too many games and too few injuries I think Klopp would not have been unhappy to jettison the FA cup - and frankly I would not have lost any sleep
I thought most of them did well , I'm sorry and surprised you didn't - the three that didn't were not kids Benteke, Enrique and Bogdan - Enrique has a bit of an excuse.I'm really not. There's mileage in it - but I wouldn't jump to the conclusion that he's not strong enough for a CB just yetCould Illori be converted into a decent DM? He was good with the ball at his feet, covered pretty well for Enrique and the FBs. Not strong enough for a Premier League CB, but very quick and seems to read the game fairly well.
Thoughts?
You can say.Can I just say that hat kid Ojo - played with great intelligence, there is definitely a future for him in our team. As for Sinclair - kind of went missing after his goal.
It's Exeter.
They're fighting relegation in League 2.
And they assisted one of our goals.
That makes it even worse. Are you suggesting that we didn't assist in both their goals?
Klopp also saying that maybe this team will get another chance at Anfield.

A shameful performance. Yes, a few of the players will have learned some stuff from this, but christ, in front of a terrestrial broadcaster, go to hell. They coast through reserve games, the lazy overpaid feckers. They're not hungry stars in the making. They're preening wankers who can't wait to find the pics best to get on instagram. The whole thing I want to block out of my my mind.
I'm not thinking particularly of the subs but the criticism of playing the youngsters - but yes Lallana was never going on that pitch
I think its time for you to pack in watching footy Macca.
I watch these players a lot, much more so than many on here, so you carry on finding excuses and over-indulging them if you wish. Some posts sound like reviews of the school nativity play.
I'm not blaming individuals...with the exception of Bogdan...I'm commenting on how the result reflects on the entire club. Ask yourself this, if that had been a Man Utd or Chelsea team playing Exeter last night, irrespective of the strength and experience of their side, would we not have been pissing ourselves laughing and then bemoaning their good fortune at still being in the cup this morning?Fuck sake lefty there were 8 kids out there. You expect 2 or 3 to "stake their claim" as you say. Not a full team. Especially kids who have barely played together before.

United did draw with them a few years back if I remember rightly.
And did we cite a crap pitch and youthful team in their defence?United did draw with them a few years back if I remember rightly.

A draw with Exeter is a great result. That's positively Hodgson-esque.

Lend me your rose-tinted glasses and I will.Dearyme Lefty, look at the context of the game, factors leading up to it etc...
