Given our situation with too many games and too few injuries I think Klopp would not have been unhappy to jettison the FA cup - and frankly I would not have lost any sleep

I thought most of them did well , I'm sorry and surprised you didn't - the three that didn't were not kids Benteke, Enrique and Bogdan - Enrique has a bit of an excuse.
For a reserve team - maybe worse given how little time they'd had together - against a shit but experienced professional team, on their big night, on a terrible pitch, a draw is probably about par.

Ask yourself this, if that had been a Man Utd or Chelsea team playing Exeter last night, irrespective of the strength and experience of their side, would we not have been pissing ourselves laughing and then bemoaning their good fortune at still being in the cup this morning?
United did draw with them a few years back if I remember rightly.

I think Klopp post match re: pitch etc was perfectly fine and he wouldn't have been the only top level manager to make reference to it I'm sure had their teams been playing on it
