2-2 FT Good job by the kids
I think so - there is a massive over reaction here to this -Frankly I wouldn't mind if we ditched the FA cup. We quite rightly, given our injury situation, played a load of kids and people that had not played for weeks/months, at a shit ground with a shit pitch. If our second choice 'keeper had not fucked up we wouldn't have had the problem.
On the plus side.
It's been a great experience for the reserves and we know that Smith, Teixiera, Branagan, Ilori, Ojo have some promise as well perhaps Kent and Randal

Really ballsy selection from Klopp and he's given some of these kids a big opportunity to show what they can do in a win-or-go-home game for LFC first team. I hope they appreciate this chance and don't this they made it. Ojo impressed in his cameo, Chirivella less so, but can't be too harsh on a young player.

As a fan I enjoyed this game and seeing our kids in action and the result is not too bad. I am more concerned that Benteke didn't really show any particular leadership on the pitch after being given the captain's armband – it's looking more and more like he is simply what he is and he will never develop his game or become a more well-rounded striker like some hoped he would.

Indeed but to have Lallana on the bench and not use him in these circumstances is idiotic. By not bringing him on earlier Klopp tied his own hands for the forced third substitution.
Klopp said he didn't bring them on because of the condition of the pitch. Didn't want to risk another injury.

That wasn't great. Draw was probably more than we deserved. There's not enough quality really, but I liked Smith, Branners, Ojo especially
On the ball there was a lot of quality - far more than Exeter - but then I expected that anyway. They didn't fail to win because of a lack of quality but a lack of tactical nouse and experience.

Klopp also thought they lost too many 1 on 1 tackles but it was a really shite pitch so judging a tackle must have been tough.

"He didn't want to risk any injuries" - That I thought would have been the obvious line that defined the whole selection and situation
True. But he did have them on the bench and probably would have used them but the pitch cut up badly and was a mud bath by the end.

A shameful performance. Yes, a few of the players will have learned some stuff from this, but christ, in front of a terrestrial broadcaster, go to hell. They coast through reserve games, the lazy overpaid feckers. They're not hungry stars in the making. They're preening wankers who can't wait to find the pics best to get on instagram. The whole thing I want to block out of my my mind.

Exactly. Say what you like about the pitch, the injuries, the kids, the spirit...Liverpool have just scraped a 2-2 draw with Exeter.

Was good to see those youngsters. As was mentioned, several are in their 20s now so should be pushing the first team. Have been talked about for too long. Would be good to see how they fare at Anfield on a better pitch too

I'm not thinking particularly of the subs but the criticism of playing the youngsters - but yes Lallana was never going on that pitch

I remember when Graeme Souness was going through a similar injury crisis he was forced to play two inexperienced youngsters, Robbie Fowler and Steve McManaman.

We should beat this lot at Anfield if we start with Mignolet in goal and a better CB pairing than Enrique-Ilori (maybe by that time it will be Matip-Sakho? I really hope so) Maybe also Ibe for either Kent or Sinclair.

I blame myself really. I said that Toure and Lucas had to be up there with the Kvarme era of all time shit CB pairings, and the footballing gods saw it as a challenge.

When the commentators said "Enrique has had problems with his knees" did they mean as in had both of them removed??? - it was like watching someone try to jog in a suit of armour. Good on him he kept going but that is a career falling off a cliff at a Michu rate of knots.

Come on, mate, they were practically demanding first team chances for a year or so. This bunch aren't.

I can only assume that @Pesam regularly watches matches of this level for betting purposes.
Initially yeah but as the years have gone on I can honestly say I prefer lower league football to Premier League. The Exeter lads probably earn about £40,000-£50,000 per YEAR; there's very few arseholes, everybody makes a huge effort in every game and there are far fewer SKY TV cameras, agents, glory-hunting fans etc.
