In all seriousness, though, yeah we're fucked.
Peoples personalities are strange. Without knowing what the fuck is going on I am quite OK with this, my spin is that something positive could have happened, others look at it completely opposite, who incidentaly don't know what the fuck is going on. Huang has not spent all this time trouble and money putting a bid together to jump out of the window at the first hurdle.

It's not just a thread on that. I just hate the position that the whole club is in. It's fucking horrible. Clubs constantly tapping up our players, more concern on the fucking politics of the club. I just wish all the focus was back on the pitch and everything else was wrapped up and taken care of. Or something like that.

No real reason as to why I think we're fucked. I just do. It just seems like bloody eons ago that we got some real good news and I felt optimistic for the future.
To be honest I'm not worried at all (at least not more than before).
I'm reasonably content with how our offseason has gone, hope we manage to hold onto Kuyt and Mascherano, and maybe bring in at least one more player. Morale seems to be good in the camp and I mostly like what I've seen from Roy so far. Obviously we need new owners but the sound of the Chinese offer was too good to be true. Something might yet come of it or we might have to be patient.
I didn't get excited at the prospect of becoming another City overnight and I'm not despondent now. Let's see how the next few games go and give the ownership issue another few weeks to shake out.

No one ever knew enough about Huang's backing for me to be upset about this. I do know that he's been incredibly active in terms of PR and I tend to think he's a lot more bark than bite.
