Andy Carroll must have destroyed my expectations from striker because I'm excited by the slightest hint of pace and movement, this guy could be shite but right now he looks amazing.

Well we have to discount his goal scoring ratio by 4 if we do sign him. Kuyt was prolific in Holland but could only manage a quarter of his scoring rate in the PL.

And everyone will say he is shit very soon.

Suarez goals com pared with his time in Holland are also divided by 4 or worse.

And knowing LFC policy, we play him as winger or midfielder!

Dividing by ten is a good system but I think a better system would be

Chances of signing = x
Chances of him being any good = 100 - x

So Messi would be

Chances of signing = 0
Chances of him being any good = 100

But Jelavic would be

Chances of signing = 100
Chances of him being any good = 0
 
Sod it we need some positivity around here. IF he signs he's going to be amazing!1!!! Golden boot winner in waiting.

He's just had a great half season in an otherwise uninspiring career. It stands to reason that we'd go wading in with an inflated bid.

[/quote]Thats harsh. He made his debut in 2010 and is only 20 years old. Its nothing at all like Jovanovic who was 28.
