2 goals and 3 assists in his first 5 games after barely paying with Inter.

How good of a player do we have here? Have Inter given us a similar Christmas present to the one Ajax gave us with Suarez?

I wouldn't go that far.

There were quite a few occasions where the pass was a little long or whatever and rather than chase down the defender and apply some pressure he just turned his back and jogged back. It was quite weird actually. It was so overt that I wondered if something else was going on.

He's still got a long way to go but there are definite glimpses of talent. I expected to see more of him beating players Assaidi style, but his ability to pick a pass is what has shone through so far and that's been quite a nice surprise. Some of his through balls have been glorious.

Agreed Ken, his passing has really been impressive. When he has 2 or 3 players all making runs around him (Sturridge, Suarez, Borini etc) I am really confident there won't be so many occasions that we fail to unlock teams.

I'm impressed with his defensive qualities, he has in a short time frame got the hang of premiership football. He tracks back, wins balls etc.
Quite the player imo.
