Bobby Burns - Heart (undisclosed fee)
[article]Hearts have completed the signing of highly rated Northern Irish teenager Bobby Burns on a three-year deal.
The versatile 18-year-old has joined the Jambos from NIFL Premiership side Glenavon on an undisclosed fee.
Antrim-born Bobby has enjoyed a meteoric rise to fame in Northern Ireland after establishing himself in Glenavon’s first-team this season, both at left-back and up front.
He made 41 appearances and scored eight goals in all competitions, and bagged 12 assists in the league.
Nominated for the NI Football Writers’ Association Young Player of the Year Award, he’s already won Glenavon’s Young Player of the Year and Fans’ Player of the Year awards.
Capped at U21 level for Northern Ireland, Bobby was invited to train with Michael O’Neill’s senior squad, having already been spotted by Hearts scouts while playing for Glenavon.
He’ll become a registered Hearts player when the summer transfer window opens on June 9th and will join up with his new teammates in time for the start of pre-season training.[/article]
Javairo Dilrosun - Hertha Berlin
[article]Another young player with great potential has chosen Berlin! Javairo Dilrosun will move to Hertha from July 1st 2018 and wear the blue and white next season.
The news mas made official earlier on Thursday. “We have been watching him for a long time and followed his development closely. He has enjoyed a terrific tactical and technical education at Ajax and Man City and is a quick and excellent match player. We are delighted to have got his signature over a number of notable clubs and that he has chosen to come and prove himself at Hertha,” said Michael Preetz on Hertha’s first signing of the summer.
Dilrosun, who has roots in Suriname, was born in 1998 and began to showcase his talents in the Ajax academy from 2006. After 45 appearance for the Netherlands junior team he moved to Manchester City in 2014, where he played 10 games for the under-18s and under-19s before collecting 29 appearances as a winger for the under-23 side.[/article]
Lukas Klünter - Hertha Berlin
[article]Preparations for 2018/19 continued on Monday as Lukas Klünter put pen to paper and agreed to join Hertha from July 1st from FC Cologne.
“We are delighted that Lukas has chosen us. He wants to take the next step and establish himself as a Bundesliga player- We are convinced he will add quality to our team with his attributes – above all his pace,” said an excited Michael Preetz on today’s transfer.
“Above all it’s a big sign that another youngster with a lot of potential has chosen Hertha Berlin,” added the Hertha sporting director.
Klünter himself is also very excited for the challenge ahead. “I see a big opportunity to develop myself here in Berlin. I’m going to throw myself fully into this new challenge and get the most out of my potential,” said the 21-year-old after shortly after signing his contract.
Born in May 26 1996 in Euskirchen, Klünter moved from Bonner SC to the Köln youth set up in July 2014. After regularly turning out at right back for the under-19s and 23s, he made the step up the first team in 2016.
He made his debut later that year under Peter Stöger in a 1-1 draw with Hoffenheim. He scored his first goal for the Billy Goats in May 2017 against Leverkusen.
He went on to make 33 appearances for Köln and also appeared for them on an international stage against both games with Arsenal in the Europa League. He has represented his country, Germany, at under-21 level and has worn his national colours on 11 ocassions.
His career highlight came last summer when Klünter, along with fellow Hertha players Niklas Stark, Mitchell Weiser and Davie Selke, won the under-21 European Championships in Poland.[/article]
