Since this new batch of Liverpool youths, there's only been one Liverpool Academy youth player in the U21s and that's Kelly. If it wasn't for him being injured all the time he would have had more caps.
The reason I know this is because I made a big deal about us not having any players in the U21s in a thread I did a few years ago.
So our Academy was pretty dire. So thanks again Benny.

How did Ince look?

He was full of running. Made himself available all the time and really attacked the box when the ball was going to put in from wide positions.
Pretty composed - shrugged off a tackle that really bundled him over.
I've not watched him in a game before (only highlights) but he was good today.
Sweden were pretty poor and made all the English players look good, so maybe he was made to look better than he is.
