Blame Rodgers

I was happy with him until recently. He's just slapped me across the face too many times now to survive. In years to come, I'll remember him as the dick who never won anything and dicked our greatest ever player around. An all round dick. It's about time he fucked off.

To be fair, our greatest ever player sometimes deserved the dicking around.

What's this got to do with Kenny?

Norwich are a very well organised team with a very good away record. We have a weakened team with very low confidence. So it didn't surprise me we didn't win, but on the positive side - and admittedly it's a tiny positive thing - we played a little better, the attitude was a little better, and Sturridge - at last - got a run out. For me, the last chance Rodgers deserves is to show how he can get the team playing now that Studge is back. No excuses after that, but I'm actually quite intrigued to see a few games more.

Yeh sure, the players can be shite sometimes. But part of that is also down to the manager and how he motivates and handles them. The top managers do this well. They manage their players well. I don't think BR does.

Imo backing and then sacking would reflect poorly on brand. Would it help us getting better sponsor deals? I'm pretty sure it wouldn't help because the only way you look after an action like that is like massive amateurs. That kind of imaging is just bad for business all around.

Giving him 5 matches more would make it clear for all, if he lost, that a mistake was made and the only way forward is the axe.

Sponsors wont exactly be queuing up if we continue this run.

@briankettle: #LFC have nine points from their last nine PL games:
Played: 9
Won: 2
Drawn: 3
Lost: 4
Goals for: 7
Goals against: 17

I agree with you in the sense that the only reason Rodgers is still around appears to be that too many people (Gordon, Ayre) seem to have put their reputation on the line by backing him.

But let us not bring the sponsors into the picture. The key factor is whom we appoint next and how they get this team to play.

This is a weak premier league in general. If FSG fire Rodgers tomorrow and get someone in who gets us to play effective football and quality for Europe, then they would be seen as dynamic. Sponsors would love that.

If they wait till there is nothing left to salvage in the season, not sure if sponsors would go "you know what, atleast they gave Rodgers a chance, let us give them 10 million more".

sponsors love the name - unless we get relegated etc, i don't think a poor season will affect us commercially (unless it's our fans driving a boycott or something)

Maybe you missed how much the attendance dropped in our pre-season games. We are losing many fans very quickly.

How long will the name last. We have had one good season since 2010.

So sponsors wouldn't mind unless we relegated but they would mind as Wiberg pointed out if we fire Rodgers after 5 games?

It's tough to tell about your first question - it really depends on how the fans purchase etc ... but I don't believe we have the luxury of not winning something for that much longer. What the 70s and 80s bred around the world in Liverpool fans has now moved on to the Mancs, Arsenal, Chelsea and City ...
I think we'll figure out how the sponsors act when we fire Rodgers in the coming months ... I really have no clue if there will be any reaction

You want a like @Wiberg? just ask nicely! 😉

Nahh, I want some wins and a level of debate that matches the quality of posters here. We have been here for 10 years ffs. We have great quality here. Let's set the level higher. Let's make sure the knee jerks and haters are a minority instead of letting them run the fucking site?!

So grab a moaner and give him a good beating.

Shit like this only happens when good posters do nothing!

i broke my hand - so tough to type long posts.

Don't see it happening re: debates or wins ...

anyone interested in the 'Rodgers out' banner being flown over Fenway Park, contact John Vasey: GetRodgersOut@gmail.com..................he is trying to get this sorted in the USA right now.

Blimey, they should automatically ban any of these bufoons with more money than sense. Twats are actually donating to this nonsense when there are food banks everywhere.

It's relegation form if you look at 15 points from last 19 games- and no more than 2 goals in any of them . I know it's selective
