Big D vs Twitter

Elon certainly seems to have brought the fun back to Twitter.

For $8 I might set up ShiekMansour_CFG and claim I’m dumping City & buying Liverpool instead.

Prob belongs in here more than the crypto thread.

Just how linked the banks, unis, hedge funds, politicians all are

This is basically the opposite of own the libs.. own the republicans and who cares who gets caught in the mess

Donald Trump - the comedy gift that keeps on giving.

De he honestly say he was running for President to Make America Great and Glorious Again.

In about 15 minutes “Make America GaG Again” will be trending on social media.

Lol @ Ken Griffin playing the saint role. He and his Citadel goons are as evil as the next devil.

Citadel and Blackrock - they’re cut from the same cloth and have hands as deep into the deepest state in global politics.

Do the money trail about them with vaccines and big pharma - you may meet the crazy dantes along the way.

“Make America GAGA” should also be trending… possibly on the radio or caught in a bad romance…

Don't think many of these 'leaders' have seen a fall from grace like Trudeau.. with his shitty accent Hi Vlodomyr..

We're doing all we can, like some pathetic version of the apprentice

He's a jumped-up drama teacher catapulted into national office because of looks, youth and who his dad was. I'm staggered he hasn't crashed and burned yet.

In 2021, he was Iron Man.
And now in 2022, he’s a massive Iron cunt.

The ego on him, rather than growing successful Tesla and Space X, this is what he does now…

Alex Cohen is a parody account so likely that's not true.

I was thinking he made some stupid schoolboy errors when taking over and he didn't have a clue what he was doing.
On the otherhand, I'm thinking maybe he felt he needed a purge? both of staff and members. There isn't a similar platform really and it works well.. maybe he feels it needs a few edits and trimming to make it profitable.
There's no way he spends that much and borrows loads from lots of different people inc Saudi and CZ only to flush it down the pan.

Or maybe he doesn't have a clue and is totally batshit.

It's a shit company that loses money and has never been able to propose a realistic plan to change that in all the time they were publicly traded. You might as well treat it as a play thing, why are people frothing about it? If it gets shut down then what, will people be screaming oh my god, in despair, that they're not going to be able to lose money this year? The horror. The tragedy. There is no reason that company needs so many staff, it's a glorified forum. This forum is run by one person in his spare time, and despite going to shit and being populated by dumb people it is still vastly superior, has no debt, and is in far better financial shape than twitter.

All he's done is fire people who sit around octagonal coffee tables in multicoloured bean bag chairs sipping a vanilla latte with their long haired unshaven colleagues. A wise efficiency saving. Charging everyone stupid enough to value a picture of a blue tick is also a wise financial move. Once he fires the rest of the staff and subcontracts all of the software and data analysis to India, maybe he can stop worrying about sustaining ridiculous losses and get back to his more important day job.

He's crippled any continuity he may have had, before he really has an understanding of how anything works.

I'm very happy that some people at least have repudiated the idea that there is something virtuous, or even useful, in working "hardcore."

There's nothing useful in it at all. It leads to people who don't have any creativity. People who are happy where they work and don't work extreme amounts of hours are more productive. People have lives and families. Elon could do with a break himself, maybe he wouldn't make so many seemingly impetuous decisions if he had more sleep. Maybe he'd be a better leader if he knew what life was about.

I think many people underestimate Elon. Laugh all you want at him, he did start companies like PayPal, Tesla, SpaceX, OpenAI and Neuralink. No small feat.

He’s a nutter, but unlike SBF, he certainly knows what he’s doing and knows how to get things done.

SBF on the other hand, a genius too (I mean you got to be - accumulating billions in liabilities and blagging your way to get billions more in personal loans, the whole time without having even an accountant let alone an accounts dept), wrecks people’s lives without a hint of remorse. It’s just game theory for him. Pure evil.

Elon, though evil too, I think has some redeeming qualities and a moral conscience that can be salvaged.

Let’s see what happens but downsizing an over-bloated and overvalued company is what many would do, however I didn’t expect the execution to be so swift, ruthless and almost merciless. They did get their severance package of 3 months and in this sort of economic climate, who wouldn’t take it ?

Some Ukrainian/Afghan refugee or an Indian minimal wage worker would gladly do their jobs for a quarter of their salary and will work 24 hours for you too. While the West and the Unions cry human rights abuse, they see it as survival. And Elon strikes me as the type who will exploit that.
