calling all tech gods.
So, I’ve got a twitter account that I rarely use which is now an X account of course.
Got an email from X (from info@X.com) asking me to login with a one time code etc to verify me.
Then got another saying suspicious activity on my account from Brazil and that X suggests changing my password. This email was from verify@x.com so seems legit.
Clicked it and it went to twitter.com and let me change my password. The new password works on X.
I’m guessing it’s all legit, but seems weird that it went to twitter which now doesn’t exist as a site. But it did exist enough to let me change my passwords.
Scam? Or legit?
