Bayern vs Moyes

The computer is far to big as well for Rooney. Needs to be this...

It's not fair a tackle to go in with both feet, with studs showing, when there's a player nearby. I think you're letting bias cloud your judgement.

It's not, and shouldn't be a case, that if you win the ball, that it's a fair tackle no matter what. It was dangerous play, if he was in more control of the tackle(one foot only) then it'd be fine.
First off, it was a one-footed tackle. Watch it again. Secondly, what is the definition of "studs showing"? As far as I can see, his studs weren't actually overly exposed until after he'd won the ball.

Maybe, I dunno. Either way I can understand why he ended up getting sent off, and why Rooney would dive out of the way of the tackle. It's certainly not as cut and dry as some have suggested it is.

Yeah it's definitely not cut and dry and I can understand why Rooney bailed, although he did exaggerate it. But when it's all weighed in the balance I still think a second yellow was very harsh considering he'll now miss the next leg.

It is amazing how quick Moyes has lowered all United fans expectations. I saw the game with two United supporting friends, and when commenting how ridicoulous low they were in the first half my friends said it was the way it had to be. It was Bayern, and they were probably played this low....

It really is, 4th place will be deemed a success for them next season, that for a team who previously shat league titles.

It was a clear dive, but hey, it's Wayne Rooney and he's English against those dirty foreign Germans... Move along nothing to see here.... What dive?

There was a revealing thing that landed in ITV's lap last night and, predictably, they completely ignored it. Their interviewer asked exactly the same question of Vidic and Moyes: 'How do you explain the difference in performance against Bayern and against Liverpool?' Vidic immediately calmly offered up a set of clear tactical reasons. Moyes, on the other hand, said: 'It's a bit of a mystery, it's hard to know'.

Yep, noticed that as well.

Been over to RedCafe a fair few times this season to witness the meltdown and one of the things that pisses them off is Moyes lack of an explaination, he keeps saying 'Its difficult to explain' when asked why his team performed like shit, he said it last night again on that Liverpool/City question, hes been saying it all season long and it drives their fans mad, lol.

It was quite revealing how Vidic offered up an explaination, when Moyes offers up this lame excuse the interviewer should push him on it and ask him to try to explain it.

Its so transparent that Moyes a fucking fraud but yet many still can't see it, hes winging it, if hes there next season then he must be praying it somehow falls into place and the new signings bail him out by covering up his inadequacies.

I might be quiffing, but fuck me, we'd have battered Bayern (and obviously the scum) last night.

We'd have made the semis at least had we been in the Champions league this year.

Should have recognised that Anne Robinson-style haircut and deduced that it was Chris Bascombe.
