Babel to Bayern

So Bayern, eh? Would be an odd move given that they have Robben, Ribery and Schweinstiger.

Have they got injury problems or has Robben bombed since doing well to begin with?

I think he has a better chance o play as a striker in Munich than to play as a winger in Liverpool.

Except that they already have Klose and Gomez competing for one central striker position.

He'll get a few games for Bayern though, as Ribery and Robben are quite injury-prone, and they could play on either wing, but when everyone's fit, there;s no chance in hell that he's gonna get a start,

Mate, Bayern changed their system and play with two strikers up front now. It was Olic and Gomez yesterday. So with Toni leaving his chances wouldn't be that bad.

He's recovering from the flu (I think).
 
I would be happy for Babel to go as long as we get someone else in. Loan deals never seem ideal but if even getting him off the wage bill is enough to fund the wages of another loan player coming to us then I think it would be a good move.

For whatever reason Babel's not making much of an impact with us. Our squad is so small that he will end up getting games regardless but I would sooner have someone who might do more when those games come!
