Don't fucking start me off on George fucking Ezra
I saw him at Glastonbury (or rather he was on whilst i was eating a hench yorkshire pud), before that shotgun song he spent about two minutes telling the dullest story about how he met a girl in Sweden, watched the Eurovision, and then had an early night. Guys dimmer than The Lying Rag at night.

I gather he has a rep as one of the nicer guys in the business, but his singing style and to some extent the songs themselves make me cringe.

Seems like a great player, but he'll always be injured....

But yeah it's not like when we signed super Mario in fairness.

Crossing those fingers

Fuck me, when I saw it had reached 15 pages, I thought fuck he is injured already in training.

There's a guy at my work. Nice lad, fucking brilliant genius, but jesus he is the most negative depressing twat in the world. Any good news & he immediately finds the negative side to it & goes about telling everyone, just sucking the enthusiasm out of the whole team. I call him the drain.

Bluebellend - I think you are him (apart from the genius part)

really happy about this transfer sighhhhhhhh

Fair enough if it was only me, but there is a huge chorus of people sceptical about this players ability to stay fit.

I’ll take Klopp’s view over many others.

Klopp “Outstanding players. Naby, I would say, is one of the best midfielders I ever saw.”

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has described Loris Karius as an "outstanding goalkeeper". The 49-year-old said: "I saw his way, from a very, very bad start at Mainz when nobody really wanted him, to an outstanding goalkeeper. “That’s what I was interested in. I spoke to him, then took him, that’s what we got - he’s a really good goalkeeper.”

Klopp “But really being involved in everything on the pitch, it’s a massive step. Yeah, I’m really happy with Oxlade at the moment and hopefully it continues.”

If LFC signed me by mistake, Klopp would probably praise me in the press conference.

Fucks sake guys. Give the lad a chance. He’s signed for us, he’s now a red and we should be wishing him well.

it’s not like we signed a Gillingham Ressie, this is a Brazilian international that’s played in the top teams of two of the top leagues of Europe for 3-4 years

How much had he actually played though?
He hasn't played that much.. injuries etc
It's always we need to kick on but we don't just kinda wait about pick up a lady minute stop gap and hope for the best

So basically we have a load of posters waiting with "I told you so's" for when he turns out shit, having never seen him play, but based purely on the circumstances of the transfer, his height and that he's a Lucas halfbreed, what with being Brazilian.

I for one won't post any "I told you so's". I'll post the standard Henry gif instead. Probably this afternoon. Or would that be too soon? He's injured right, so yeah, next week then.

Did Lucas have this skill set? This lad’s centre of gravity is utterly mad

Looks ideally suited to our midfield to be honest - though keep him away from the opposition goal ! I'd like to have seen more of his creative passing too.
