I think Gerrard will join Lucas and Adam in the middle of midfield with Downing on the left and either Raul/Kuyt on the other side, Suarez up top.

Each to their own but i think that's harsh. i'd like to see all 3 of them together. Obviously a lot will depend on whether Gerrard can get up to support Suarez.

By the way, anyone notice Meireles looking a little angry when he set up Suarez for the 2nd, was like a fuck you to the Liverpoool bench, that's why i should be playing.

Frimpong seriously didn't impress me. He ran through players because he's a unit.

That is his only attribute

Frimpong impressed me TBH, that said, he still reminded me a little of Traore (on a good day), but with a bit more aggression.

If he can hold his temper in a bit he could be just what Arsenal needed in the centre last season, sadly for them, this season they have more problems than a lack of steel in the centre.

Great result, decent performance against a poor arsenal team. Enrique looks a great buy and also Downing. I think Henderson had a ok game, had some very smart touches and kept the ball well. Suarez and merieles were great and we should look to find a place for merieles in the first 11 more often than not. Kuyt was very very poor, constantly losing possession and not offering any real quality at all.Absolutely done nothing today to warrant another start next week and we really need someone a lot better.I think Kenny( unlike the last couple of managers who played him no matter how bad he was playing) is starting to see it that way aswell and hopefully he we not be playing week in week out.

Is anyone worried about Adam? Again looked slow and positionally poor. His basic technique isn't up to this level. His much praised set-pieces has been quite poor and he gives the ball away way too much. Should be dropped when Gerrard's back.

Kelly proved again that he's the best right back in the club and should keep Johnson in the bench. Downing and Enrique looked good.

If we're going 4-4-2 at home, maybe time to try Johnson ahead of Kelly on the right flank.
