yeah yeah kuyt has his fans but I was SO glad he went off when arsenal went down to 10 men, put people on the pitch who are going to pass arsenal into the ground.
What an awful game, we weren't great, luckily Arsenal were worse. We won thats all that matters. Top of the league!

Andy Carroll needs to up his game fast.
Henderson needs to grow some balls and believe in himself and take so risks.
Our middle is horribly static and easily by passed. Gerrard needs to come in for Lucas when he's fit.
Dull, boring and painful, but a win so all is good =)

we played so much better with suarez and ming, perhaps we set up too differently with carroll up top, id like to see us continue the pass and move game regardless of whos the striker, i actually think it would be better suited for carroll.
pretty good show for our new players too, enrique and downing have been excellent so far, adam looks decent enough, henderson needs more time but he's improved, id like to see maxi given a chance on the wing considering last seasons form

Adam and henderson played well today modo. I really don't know what you're expecting a 20 year old to do on his second appearance for the club? Adam played well from deep. Which is his position. and he kept possession. At a ground where it's phenomenally hard to keep the ball.
You're fucking miserable. You're acting like a spoilt brat because you're not getting your way. We just won 2-0 at the emirates. convincingly. and yet you pick on 2 players who played well. Why not mention kuyt who was diabolical? Why not carroll?
Because they don't play in aquilanis position.

That was a great team performance and I think it's hard to fault Kenny's tactics, although Carroll continues to look like a championship player. I hope there's a place for Raul/Maxi in Kenny's plans, we looked so different when a couple of our latin pass/move players came on. Before that we were disciplined but painfully predictable.
