I'm not sure Agger himself would actually be up for the move, nor the club willing to entertain it, unless the Mancs are willing to pay over the odds. Can't see them doing that unless they're really desperate. Even if they do though, I'd hope we don't send him to them, because I just don't like to see him playing for them. Or Arsenal, for that matter. Or Spurs, should they be interested.
Its only ever his fitness that has bothered me, and its never ever got any better.
He is 100% behind Lovren, Skrtel and Sakho in the pecking order, probably Kolo too, so like it or not he is surplus to requirements.
Id take anything from 8m upwards and wish the big dane the very best.
He's a quality player when fit. Just because BR doesn't feel that's the case, doesn't mean he couldn't play well under another manager at a major rival, so yep, abroad please. But, if a daft one comes in, sell to anyone. He's good, but not that good.
On the whole he has been a very good signing for us, and is a talented player. It is time for him to move on though and hopefully we get a decent amount for him.
Although his injuries and his moaning have gotten annoying over the years, unlike others he has stuck with the club during the rough times and should get some credit for that. Wish him all the best.
