Agger begs to leave...

Reason I'm asking is because my Man U supporting brother thinks he'd be a perfect fit for their new line up.

I'm not sure Agger himself would actually be up for the move, nor the club willing to entertain it, unless the Mancs are willing to pay over the odds. Can't see them doing that unless they're really desperate. Even if they do though, I'd hope we don't send him to them, because I just don't like to see him playing for them. Or Arsenal, for that matter. Or Spurs, should they be interested.

The mancs can go fuck themselves, remember the Heinze fiasco? Besides, they're probably getting Vermaelen.

Its only ever his fitness that has bothered me, and its never ever got any better.
He is 100% behind Lovren, Skrtel and Sakho in the pecking order, probably Kolo too, so like it or not he is surplus to requirements.
Id take anything from 8m upwards and wish the big dane the very best.

Thanks for the.. er... er... er... being Danish ???!!!

You were no Jan (shoot shoot shoot)... Close your door on the way out, theres a nice chap..

He's a quality player when fit. Just because BR doesn't feel that's the case, doesn't mean he couldn't play well under another manager at a major rival, so yep, abroad please. But, if a daft one comes in, sell to anyone. He's good, but not that good.

He's a good player but not good enough.
Struggles against physical players and lacks awareness.

The ball playing part means fuck all in the end.
175 league games in 8 years. Injuries are sadly a big part of his game.

If we get a fee of around 8 mill we should sell.
Good luck to him.

Didn't he turn Barca down a couple years back to stay with us?

I like Agger despite his occasionally whinging. His time is up here no doubt but he's been good value for his 6M or so and has been pretty loyal.

I will be sad to see him go but times change and as Keni says, his time is up at Anfield.

I will wish him the best, he's been great when fit. A proper Liverpool player

I'm gutted. I love Agger but unfortunately his time is up.

Thanx for the service Dani-Boy!

On the whole he has been a very good signing for us, and is a talented player. It is time for him to move on though and hopefully we get a decent amount for him.

Although his injuries and his moaning have gotten annoying over the years, unlike others he has stuck with the club during the rough times and should get some credit for that. Wish him all the best.
