Surprisingly the US Women's team is actually fairly entertaining to watch. Wambach also gets the highest compliment from me that I can give to a woman athlete. She plays like a guy.

24-year-old Norwegian international Elise Thorsnes posted a picture onto Twitter this weekend which has since catapulted her into the public sphere.

Ms. Thorsnes picked up an injury in her lower abdomen last week which left some wondering wether the top scorer in the Norwegian league would be able to represent her country in this summer’s European Championship finals in Sweden.

The attacker reacted to the news in eye-grabbing fashion as she posted a picture onto Twitter with an ice pack placed down the front of her panties. She added the tagline:

Thank you for all inquiries regarding my tin [i.e. vagina] the report on TV 2. I’m doing fine without warm hands and the like.


Elise Thorsnes is one of the top striker in world women’s football having scored 109 goals in 139 professional club matches.
