It's quite scary to think of injuries having some sort of collective consciousness and thinking of us fans when they do stuff. It would explain a lot though.

It would be typical of us to throw the good work done against Chelsea with poor results against the lesser teams. Until we show signs that we can win the games we should on paper we will miss out on top 4.

It's interesting looking at the next 10 fixtures (which takes us just over half way through the season) for the Top 7 teams (plus Chelsea). Spurs and Liverpool seem to have the easiest fixtures, United, Arsenal & Chelsea next and City & Leicester the toughest.

After another 10 games I can see there being very little at the top between City, Arsenal & United (if they start scoring again) but with Spurs and Liverpool having closed up somewhat, Chelsea will have made ground and I think they'll be just outside the Top 5/6. Leicester will have dropped back and West Ham will be out of the Top 8.
