Look, we've overpaid for players for four years because we are not in the CL.
We won't have to do that anymore.
We also will have more players willing to sign.
Look at how spurs spent their money. You can only Change teams incrementally.
We could make the CL, spend a ton on five signings and BR would be under obscene pressure to deliver if we didn't make it our of the group stages.
Keep going after the same targets. But we'll get them this time. Don't overspend.
Last year villa boas was highly thought of. He only missed out on the CL because of a strange situation. Over a year later, with huge money to spend and high expectations he's a zero. Let's be careful with the purchases and the pressure it puts on a manager.
not really, not when posters have actually admitted they haven't, but then went on to lay into the owners/Rodgers for not coughing up enough money. Nice try though.

I wouldn't take anybody's input on international transfers too seriously if they hadn't heard of Willian or Konoplyanka before we were linked to them. If you want to sound credible about transfers when you post, justifying that a player was mostly unknown otherwise isn't the way to go about it.
Mark, you remind me of one of my friends who's a United fan through and through, but keeps trying to tell me that Nani is a comparable fullback to Lahm.
I just nod and smile whenever he tries to make a tactical point these days.
Hope there's some truth in it. Getting top four this season is great, but was listening to Purslow on the radio and he was saying that 2015 is crucial as it means a good 50-60 million a year form then. It'll be bloody hard to get back in once the top four start getting that sort of funding year on year. Not impossible, but very tough.
