First off I want to say that I'm not that fond of these calendar year awards. It's hard evaluating two separate half seasons, feels incomplete somehow because how do evaluate players like Macca and Szobo who joined in the summer?

Secondly, is this about Liverpool players or footballers in general? (I'll go with LFC players)
