Per my point - check how many new users we've had (and lost perhaps) over say the past 5 years. It's clear as I stated that, short of advertising, which we don't do / can't afford, being able to be found via search engines (which will have trawled and aggregated many years of 6CM) is pretty much the only way new blood (of any age) can be found.
To say nothing of say a move to Discord costing the loss of more members for one reason or another.
That's not being unnecessarily argumentative, it's called debate and laying out the pros and cons.
