probably this time  but in Germany, we always face this peoblem. I have to install that unblocker or something. Btw the front theme of the video itself raises so many questions

Use hola unblocker. Works great for me. Don't bother for 1 pound fish man though.

He is not 18! He looks like my granddad.

He's surely not our TOP target for January, is he? It's not as if he's going to improve the first team immediately. I definitely want us to get him, but presumably as he's a mad fan we've been sounding him out for a while.

So far I've read that Matic and Pastore are our top targets

You mean so far you've read that Pastore and Matic might be linked with a move to us, and are on your knees praying that it happens?

If we can be in the thick of things for the title come the January window, we could do well to buy some real talent. Ideally Europa/CL cup tied players who are less appealing to out competition.

Pastore could be a good signing.
We should reach some agreement with the kid and buy him later if Derby's arsse doesnt agree to bring the price down which is agreeable to us. Anyways, we dont need him right now, in case if we buy him we should keep him there for this season and probably next season loan him to some EPL club

I wouldn't mind us signing him this January for 8-10M with an agreement that they can keep him on loan for the next 18 months or so without additional fee.

Both articles claimed they would be our top targets. Our scouts are probably working overtime for Rodgers all across Europe these days.

Matic and Pastore are both excellent signings imho.

If the lower league clubs aren't careful their inflated fees will just spark a more sophisticated and cynical style of tapping up, whereby big clubs will find ways to conspire with young players to move on the cheap. You're buying potential, so the deal should be low but full of add-ons if that potential is met.

Derby to auction off Will Hughes

WILL HUGHES will be sold in a £15million auction in January – and the Derby County wonderkid has his heart set on Anfield.

Hughes is a Liverpool nut and the England Under-21s star has made it clear that if he is forced to leave Pride Park, he wants to be part of Brendan Rodgers’ rebuilding plans.
The midfielder, 18, can take his pick of the Premier League’s top teams but will snub Manchester United and Arsenal in order to secure his dream move to Anfield.
New Derby boss Steve McClaren has already been told the club has to sell Hughes in order to reduce their debt.
The Rams’ current finance deal is set to end in 2016 and they could lose their Pride Park stadium if the debts are not fully cleared by then.
Derby are determined to hold out for £15m for the teenager who has been tracked by Man United, Everton and Arsenal for two years.
But Hughes and Derby are close to a deal with the Kop giants which will see the Championship club net a huge fee in January and keep Hughes for the rest of the season.

Now if we sign Hughes, where does that leave Suso?
We already have Allen, Gerrard, Henderson and Lucas competing for two spots.

'A £15m auction"? How does that work? 'Now with the next lot, do I have any bids? Oh, by the way, it has to be £15m.' They've not really worked that out.

I do enjoy the fact you read an article with same amount of cynicism about the appalling misuse of the English language. It seems most people completely ignore (or worse, are ignorant of) the idle nature in which they're written.

He's a luxury signing. We've got too many problems with our midfield already without adding Hughes' development into it.

Actually, I'd have thought he was the exact opposite. We've had a number of wonderful players over the last decade but the only constant in that has been Gerrard.

He had Owen scoring goals, he had Torres scoring goals, he's helped Studge score goals as well as doing it himself. I'm not saying these players weren't good in their own right but the one, constant, world class player we've had had been Gerrard.

Imagine if we'd had to buy him when he was 23. Ferguson said at that time he thought Gerrard was as good as it got and he'd pay anything to have him at Old Trafford. But, he said, we'd need an armed escort to get him to the games so it'll never happen.

If Gerrard hadn't been born scouse could you imagine us shelling out the 45, 50, 60m for him? Ever? Not likely.

I'm not suggesting Hughes will be anywhere as good as Stevie but we need that sort of quality coming through and we're sure not going to buy it in today's market. Signings like Hughes are essential IMO.

Straight £15m is a bit mad. A structured, incentivised deal plus him staying on for a couple of seasons should seal it. We could also loan them some of our skillful youngsters like Teixeira, McLaughlin, Rossiter. Win win for everyone.

If the papers are saying 15m then (in the unlikely event that figure is based on anything real) it'll be the total value of the deal, the paper always use the biggest figure.

I've mentioned before that I've yet to see anything so far that suggests that Hughes is worth the £15m gamble. Obviously LFC scouts have watched him more often than me but I'd still be very disappointed if we spent more than £7m on this kid. It very much reminds me of when we nearly bought (according to press specualtion at the time) Conor Wickham who was touted as the next big thing and subsequently signed for Sunderland for £8m and has proved a complete dud - I had seen Wickham several times and was as unimpressed as I am with Hughes*.

I'd be more inclined to offer Bradford City £4m for Nakhi Wells** and then loan him back to Bradford until the end of the season.

*Technically Hughes is much better than Wickham looked but even though he's technically gifted he hasn't performed well in the games I've seen.

**I'm aware that Wells and Hughes play in different positions but Wells IMO is as likely to become a top player as Hughes is and for a lot less cash.
