Hot corn flakes are nice
Erm...no.

Hot milk you mean?

Why does anyone want warm soggy cornflakes?

Oat So Simple Porridge is great. So easy to make and the syrup one is fucking well tasty.

I always start the working day with a bowl. (I’m eating some now)

I like corn flakes.

Although my favourite breakfast dish is a savory dish made with rice and coconut milk and a chilli paste topped off with chicken in a chili paste, fried anchovies, fried froundnuts, sliced cucumbers and a generous helping of more chili.

ie the Y1 aforementioned 'nasi lemak'

Mushy and sweet, not my kind/type of breakfast

mushy and savoury is another matter!

Pork%20Porridge.JPG

Chinese porridge/congee with deep fried crispy intestine, liver, kidney, pork meat balls, with or without century eggs, cilli padi/tabasco.

That is what I call a hot mushy savoury breakfast. Made in heaven.

Fairly common.

Isn't the mouth-watering smell of bacon frying in the morning allegedly responsible for many a vegetarian having a moment of weakness?

I'm not sure of the veracity of that myself, but it's a nice thought.

And it does smell so very yummy.

I don't really eat that much pork outside of bacon and a bit of ham.

My girlfriend is a propa full-on militant veggie, so I was shocked to hear her say the other day that the smell of a fry up wafting up the stairs (bacon essentially) smelt great
oh yeah? 😛
hot porridge is miles better for me
What type porridge oats ?

No,that's rice porridge.

But it's not usually eaten with tabasco.I'm sure Y1 put that in for my benefit.

It's usually just eaten with pepper and soy sauce.

The wierd thing is that we call soy sauce 'ketchup'.

What the Yanks call ketchup, we call 'tomato sauce'.

I do of course sometimes have that porridge with chili padi.

I leave out the kidney tho.

Y1. Have you spent any time in any of the other threads recently or just this one?

You 're food and drink mad!

That's a trait common to most Malaysians, I'm afraid.

Our normal food intake consists of breakfast, elevensies, lunch, tea,a snack, dinner and a late night supper.
