What is the use of medical?

I suppose it's to ensure that beyond the current injury, if there are any other issues, and also to make an estimate of when the player will return to fitness

Teeth affect muscles, or something like that. I'm sure some players have had some teeth removed to help correct one thing or another to do with playing football and preventing injuries

It was a scam. Allegedly.
They said it meant a spinal issue, or potential spinal issue. They then did a second medical & tried to renegotiate the price on the basis of this medical issue.
The selling club (I forget who) sensibly saw through this scam & told them to fuck off. They later sold him to Lyon for the original price Milan wanted.

In his case I suspect the club could have told him rubbing some powdered rhino horn on his feet would leave him injury free & it would have worked though TBH.
