For the 1st time in a while, I'm looking at a summer of no footie.

No world cup, no Euros, no CL final. Come this weekend there will be no more footie for 12 weeks.

The prospect is very saddening.

What is everyone going to do to fill the void left?

And don't say the Ashes
 
Talk about who I want us to sign, not who I think we should sign on 6CM probably.

Try and ignore football related discussion until August.

Play more Golf, have a holiday. Spend time with the family without worrying about the fixture list and where I'll be when a game is on.

Stress free in other words.
 
There's still a bit of football left to watch; Play Off finals, FA Cup and CL Final and by the time they're finsihed it will only be 6 weeks to LFC's first friendly match so it's not too bleak.

I will spend the 6 weeks drunk and stumbling from one BBQ to another.
 
I think this will be an excellent window for some big transfers. I'll also knock my sky sports subscription on the head.
 
I plan to do a load of Rowing and Cycling with cricket watching inbetween. Perfect!

as for me... I'll be sating my appetite with J League soccer (a bit poo, but the fans are fanatics!) and repeats of the season that almost was on cable!

Getting Married....
 
I have tickets for 5 of the Confed Cup games, and hope to get to one or two more. Still won't prevent the annual depression that will kick in on Sunday after the final whistle.
