Are they set to be the next club that pass us by and become the next superpower of English football ?

Practically given a new stadium, decent manager, some good players and in London too.. Could very well be on the radar for some Sheik to invest in them or take over, over the next few years. .

An attractive investment, much like City where a few years back, but being in London could be a bigger draw for attracting the right players with the finacial backing of some Sheik..

Certainly going to be interesting to see how things develop with them.

That said if we had a defence of Maldini Puyol Cannavaro and Cafu in their prime under Rodgers we'd probably still leak goals left right and centre.

I respect others' views but I've never been fully convinced by Winston Reid. I agree he's a decent player but IMO he's stood out partly because he's been surrounded by dross in that defence.

West Ham are flattering to deceive IMO. They're good, but not that good. Nobody is this season, Citeh excepted.

Indeed. Mark has been getting flak recently but after reading some of the positively gleeful posts after the Utd game, I'm sympathizing with his point of view a little more. All the lol this and lol that... it's just kinda weird.

You could be right but I think he has the right mentality, he gives off a calming vibe rather than the Lovren chaos. Plus the fee would have been decent or even free.

Fabio made a good point about west ham after they beat arsenal, they are weeks ahead of everyone else in fitness because of how early their season started. They'll certainly fade.

Yeah it's odd. It's frustrating enough get shite from rivals fans in the 'real world' without coming on here to have our own fans continue to gleefully turn the knife to get one over on somebody else.

I think 99% of this site would trade up on Rodgers anyway. Nearly everyone would take Klopp or Ancelloti ahead of him if given the choice. Has that not been established yet? Can people not contribute to the forum without directing every single post towards Rodgers. I understand it's a popular topic and subject matter but we are all basically in the same boat of wanting him gone. Some just seem to feel the need to repeat their sentiments time and time again but with added unnecessary bile and OTT hate. (I'm not talking about this thread btw, just in general).

In summary, he's a chancer, a prick, he can't build a defence, he has shiny teeth, his formations are suspect, he's poison, he's ruining this club, he doesn't respect us like other managers did, he's gots to gooooooooo.
