I suppose Spurs winning is good for our title aspirations but I can't cheer the knobheads on.

They've just gone 2 nil up.
Yeh, it's bitter sweet, I had no doubt that City would struggle once they had a decent opposition, but why couldn't it have been us first and not fucking Spurs, the little dickweeds will be using this as total validation that they're the best team in the league now.

Also, can we take a moment to discuss just how cringeworthy it is that Spurs come out of the tunnel to the Phantom Menace theme tune?!

Not a bad day's set off results so far. Now, can Burnley win another home match 2-0?

Will Flanno ever play for them? He could have played about six times or more for our reserves so far. He was sent there to regain match fitness and he's not played yet.

Spurs are a good team. It's no surprise they beat City at home, or are second in the league ahead of Liverpool. They usually finish ahead of Liverpool. They did last season. And the season before that. In fact, if you look at recent history, they almost always do.

So let's not be cunts about it. They're a good team, with loads of great players who we all wish played for Liverpool, and they will expect to finish above us, for obvious reasons. They usually do.

Let's qualify that with identifying the Spurs players who would obviously walk straight into our first team

Loris
Alderweireld
Dellllle allliiii
Dier
Vertonghen

And arguments for Rose, Kane, Vertonghen

They have a very good defense and goal keeper. With Wanyama, Dier and Dembele rotating they could probably probably get alot of 1-0 wins. We always need at least 2 goals and hope we don't implode defensively.

I would say we just shade it slightly in attack because of the individual talents we have.

We also have no European football.

But in all I will say they are a better bet than us for the title at the moment.

We've played 5 of 7 away so far this season (incl Spurs/Arsenal/Chelsea) - I'd take a point behind Spurs given that start to take it we're at least as good if not better.

Actually think Son will be a terrific player in a klopp team.

Not this shit again, yes let's be cunts about it, it's got nothing to do with Spurs being a good team, just simply the fact that they have one of those most intolerable fan bases on the planet, who proclaim themselves the greatest around at any sniff of success. Now I know you have some sort of crush on the club and can't resist telling us how much better they are than us every time they gain a bit of form, but may I suggest you move to one of their forums to unload your lily white load?

Disagree with Vertonghan or however you spell his name.
Argument for how would you play Alli in our system?
Rose would get in the team. But that'd put Milner back in midfield to no room for Dier.

Lloris and Alderweirld would walk into our team. Surprising we didn't bid £40m for the latter when he was at our feeder club.
